Until Coach O, LSU was never a passing school, we were a running school. So saying Nus is #3 all times isn’t a good comparison.

What he's done with his receivers compared to those two guys and first time offensive coordinator is statistically impressive and is encouraging going into next year. I don't know who in the country I would take over him next year outside of Nico I.

If Nuss returns next year may be interesting. Weak qb class this draft so we'll see

With blinders on, yes, he’s number three.

But is he really the third best QB LSU has ever had?

Let me call a time out and think about it!!!

Best answer:

NO!!!

The title says single season passing leaders. Not top LSU QBs ever.

JD looked like the same QB that started the 2022 season as he did against A&M in the last game of 2022. 0 passing and 0 rushing TDs and one of his lowest passer ratings with Auburn and Arkansas being the only games lower.

You mean the Texas A&M game where Burrow set a LSU single game record at the time with 6 total TDs?

Obviously you don’t know the difference between JD and JB. Keep up.

Daniels regressed over the 2022 season.

Unlikely, Tommy Hudson had 9110 yards for his total career

Nuss has attempted 133 more passes than Jayden did. He's short of Jayden by 354 yards and has throw 133 more passes. Yards per Attempt is the most important stat for a QB, and Nuss verse decent SEC teams is like 5.5.

Now do this of these players 1st year starting at LSU stats vs teams that actually have a defense - Bama, TAMU, Ole Miss, Florida.

Nuss stats which aren't even good, would be really bad, like 5.5 YPA, 50% completion rate vs those teams. His passer rating is very low like 110 vs those teams.

He very much plays to how good the team he's playing.

Ah. My bad, misread it. Too much swapping the comparisons between JD and JB and Nuss shouldn't be compared to either.

To be the GOAT , do you have to win a Natty to go with the stats?!?
