Beth for whatever reason thinks she's untouchable. She will not work hard to become a better coach, because she already thinks she is the best coach in softball.
Beth will be here until she retires. I don’t like it but that’s the way it is. She is Woody’s safe spot. “See? I don’t fire coaches all the time.” Scott is fine with a program that wins more than it loses so unless the program tanks, Beth is safe.
Every year for the past seven we’ve said “this is Beth’s make or break year.” What else does Scott need to show you? She obviously does not have one.

She's waiting for her daughters to join the team. She isn't going anywhere
Knowing her mindset, if her daughters are very good, she'll probably send them to Florida. If they are average, she'll start them over here as Freshman.
Hopefully, her daughters are not pitchers, which would allow a good coach to coach them.

I agree, but I will be contacting him by my BOS friend.

At least they won't be choking another one away.

I will start caring again when Scott and the university decide to also. There is no excuse for this.

Scott won't care because he doesn't think we care.
I can't be the only one contacting him. He used to be very receptive with me when he first came here. He isn't anymore.
He probably thinks I'm the only one that is complaining.
He doesn't read Tigerdroppings, Twitter, Facebook, etc about LSU Softball.

Look at Beth pleading with Walton to give LSU one game this weekend. She is pathetic!

Not much to say after that.. the glaring issue is pitching, no clue why but it’s the clear weakness on this team. I watched on TV and there was a clear difference in talent and especially size. Recruit bigger stronger players!! Their lineup featured lots of 5’8 and above thick athletes… we need those

I hope LSU getsTori Edwards a good NIL deal this offseason. She's really the only one that can match the good teams in terms of strength. Most of the other girls hit singles with a few doubles sprinkled in.
That might win in high school, not college.

Beth Ball is clearly rearing its ugly head. This team is finished, kaput

Who is the pitching coach?

Looking like another host a regional, travel for super regional season.

This team was five outs from sweeping #3 Texas in Austin and you’re suggesting our hitting is “high school”
Torina deserves scrutiny for sure but at least don’t sound that fricking ridiculous

Pitching is the obvious problem on this team:
Posted on 4/26/25 at 6:40 pm to tarzana
They have to win at least one against Florida, which the Pitchers are petrified of, and one against Arkansas just to host a regional.
If they win the next two against Florida and two against Ark, I still think they have a chance to be a top 8 seed.
Beth looks 60 years old in her interview after the game. Her one interview in 3 weeks. Can't hide when you have home games, Beth.

No, the hitting is good actually better than I thought it would be with this lineup. I'm comparing other teams hitting homers, while we get singles and sometimes doubles.
hitting singles and doubles will win you a lot of high school games, but you can't compare them to Homers.
Tori is our homerun hitter, Bergeron is OK in that department. However, the 10 ten teams have 4 or 5 Tori Edwards on their teams.

We have to win a couple of more games to host a regional. 9 - 15 in the SEC or 10- 14 in the SEC will not get you to host.

A better example is that against A @ M, we out hit them in two of the three games? Even the game that we lost 12 - 7, we had 10 hits, they had 13.
We lost all 3 games.
Against, Texas we out hit them in 2 of the 3 games also.
We won 1 game in Texas.
Yes, I know BB's had something to do with it, but the major problem is we have 1 girl that is a HR threat and the top ten teams have 4 or 5 on their teams.
