Keeps the righty-lefty alternating thing going and also puts a high on base percentage player at the end of the lineup for Crews coming up behind them. Gavin has the 2nd best OB% on the team behind Crews (3rd if you include Travinski with far fewer at bats).

Completely staggered RH/LH 1-9.

One more lineup question:
So Jobert is our worst defensive outfielder, and instead of leaving him in the spot he has played most of the year we move him to left field and have Pearson, who has played left field many times before, in right field.
