Hurd wasn’t getting the corner strike and just lost it that inning, but early on this year he has struggled the most imo

The ball landed about 5 feet behind where Pearson was positioned before the pitch. I don't care how hard it was hit. Had he not initially crashed in, it was a routine play for a college outfielder. He misread the ball off the bat.
