I just asked ChatGPT to give me the line for the 2019 LSU team vs this years Indiana team. It said with Las Vegas being polite LSU would be -28 to -31 with the over/under being between 70-73.

That doesn't mean it would be a lock, the game still has to be played, etc but it gives you an idea.

He’s been a clown for years so I don’t take anything he says seriously. Barstool as a whole is nothing but an engagement platform. He’s a perfect fit there is all I can say. They are all good at garnering clicks and views, but I don’t take anything of those idiots seriously. Do you I hope not.

A more appropriate question might be, what has this fool done to get you to shill this hard for him?

All 7 teams ahead of LSU would get washed. LSU played much better competition and it's not close. Teams today don't have depth. Plus I can pick a bunch of metrics LSU is better in.

Didn't 2019 beat 7 top 10 teams?

How about IU SoS?

Also this thread is an embarrassment

Tbob never once says 2025 IU is better or ranked them above 2019 lsu

But not a single person gives a shite about any facts anymore before getting emotional and yelling

Sure if you like to watch random football of random guys from random places representing your team.

You can just watch NFL football for that.

I think this entire thread is people shitting on him for something that he didn’t even actually say. I don’t like when people get shite on for things that they didn’t actually say. That’s all.

You know a metric means nothing when you realize 2019 Clemson is ahead of LSU.

This best thing about that X post is that it correctly aligns Indiana’s favorable schedule in 2025 with Clemson’s easy ACC cakewalks and Ohio St’s east run in 2019. LSU had no issue dog walking that Clemson team 4 spots higher, so what weight do you believe this holds?

To their credit, Indiana has grown into a dominant team without facing a slate of multiple tough regular season games, much like those top Clemson teams. Cignetti and his staff deserve a ton of credit for that. But this doesn’t mean a damn thing in regards to comparing them to 2019 LSU. Not one damn thing.

Did anyone listen to what he actually said?

Indiana is a win away from being one of the best CFB teams of all time. He never says they would beat 19 lsu.

The Big 10 is the best conference in college football. And they’ve beaten the shite out of good teams in the postseason which they deserve credit for.

I mean it’s just another statistic. I think there’s whole debate is dumb in itself because there will never be a way to actually judge this. It’s just a talking point to give people a reason to argue and be mad.

What I see in this thread are several like me who shite on him in general because we know who he is and pay him little to no mind. I don’t care what he did or didn’t say about LSU and Indiana because he a fricking idiot who’s paid to be a fricking idiot to garner engagement. He could be talking about Ole Myth or anyone else and I would give his opinion the same level of importance- absolutely none.

The frustration for some of us is the constant fascination with him here just because he was once a mediocre LSU football player.

Mendoza averages a little over 210 yards passing a game. He has three RBs they ride. IU wouldn’t want to get in a shootout with 2019 LSU

It is an improving conference. There are more teams at the top and a good middle. But Indiana also had the very good fortune to get games vs 6 teams in the bottom half of the conference, and most of them were terrible. Are you really going to tell me that UCLA, Purdue, Michigan St, Wisconsin, and Maryland are any good Penn St was disappointing, but at least they have talent.

The only good team that Indiana put it on in Big 10 play was Illinois, and they performed below preseason expectations. So two things can be true at the same time. The Big 10 was good this year, but Indiana still had a very favorable schedule.

At least you admit it. This is a particularly poor statistic to hang anything on.
