The Tigahs would have to totally collapse for us to lose......no matter how fired up UT can get..... the Tigahs will get it done.

They don't necessarily need to collapse for Tennessee to have a chance. I live in this awful orange state and the fans are fired up after the Butch firing. Not only that, they are honoring Fulmer and the '97 team Saturday with Peyton Manning right there. Tennessee will have a little more pep to them.

I give 2 shits if the "fans" think this is a gimmie game I just hope the team goes into this game with a sense of urgency.

Did it occur to anyone that they have the same staff as last week minus Lyle? Same playcallers, same players, same S&C coaches, etc.

It's not like they revamp their offense in a week and all of a sudden are worldbeaters.

Hold on there, Sparky. Remember this?

quote:

On November 15, 1999, two days after the Tigers lost to unranked Houston at home, LSU chancellor Mark Emmert fired DiNardo with one game remaining in the season. DiNardo was given the option to coach the final game of the season against Arkansas, but DiNardo declined.[17] Instead, offensive line coach Hal Hunter was named interim coach, leading LSU to a 35–10 victory over the Razorbacks.

If it's a case of the team losing faith in the head coach and questioning his game decisions, then you can sometimes see that team play lights out just because someone else is calling the shots. It happens.

We shall see. I sure hope they just lay down.

If Les were coaching, I'd be terrified. This is the kind of trap game he'd blow.

CEO needs to come out strong with this team, put his foot on their neck early, and crush their windpipe. No letting them hang around and get the fans in on things.

I think we lose a close one in Tennessee and get beat handily by A&M. 7-5 will be the best we see under the shrimp boat captain.

I feel a vibe similar to LSU football the week after firing Hallman in 94 and Dinardo in 99. Suddenly the team started playing well, and Tennessee could follow suit this Saturday

That's very unlikely. Les Miles is no longer pacing the sidelines

If a team that is 0-6 in the SEC is now seen as tricky, you might as well blow up our coaching staff and start over

A team with an interim is either dangerous or completely folds. LSU has to avoid mistakes and don’t let them hang around longer than necessary like vs Arkansas.

We got this.

We are ranked 20 with a loss to Troy and a 30 point blowout to Miss St. This "success" you talk about feels like hemorrhoids
