We’ve got a game in a few days with Bama. We’re not going to play it without a coach, and we’re not going to cancel it. We have a coach, possibly Verge, possibly a temp. We also have a new coach that will take
over in ‘26 who we cannot announce because he has not yet terminated his current position at Washington, Ole Miss, Texas, Penn State, Bama, or you name it. The coach for the upcoming remainder of the ‘25 Season, however, can and should be announced rather than withheld any longer for fear of negative reaction, which is the current posture of the LSU athletic department. Administrators, grow a pair.
I honestly didn’t think I would read 2 of the worst posts in the history of this site on the same day. Take a bow dummy!!

You apparently haven’t looked at LSU athletic department financials.
We could pay Kelly $800k/mo the rest of his life and be fine.

I just know 1 thing. No clue on AD or any of that. It’s done and new coach has all the power. Everything will be announced at same time

I was told (in the summer) that Kelly's buyout would have to be under 30 million for LSU to fire him. So, this makes sense. However, everyone on this board claims that a donor(s) already has said he/she would pay the buyout.

When should we expect to see Bama insiders to report on this? It seems hard to believe that not a single Bama insider is privy to some of the details about this offer or potential imminent hiring.

My sauces have informed me that Saban is partnering with Todd Graves and there will be a new combo announced on the menu. It comes with 3 pieces of toast, 3 sauces, and 9 chicken fingers, coleslaw will NOT be an option.
