We have got to question the Strength and Conditioning Program.

Last of all p4 teams and Kelly said this o line would be great… he needs to go

BK doesn't have the ability to field a complete team in a single season.
This is what has pissed me off the most. One year special teams were horrendous. The next year the Defense was horrendous. This year the offense (with plenty of manageable firepower) is horrendous.

NFL talent has made Davis job easy the last couple years.
They had NFL talent last year and the O-line was BAD.
I don’t care what anyone says, the oline last year could not run block against a decent front. They were good at pass blocking but softer than charmin in run blocking.

I get the frustration with Sloan and Nuss, but your OL can't be this bad and expect to have any viable offense.
I'd like to see the pass blocking metric. It can't be a whole lot better

So the question remains …. is it “Xs and Os" or "Jimmy's and Joe’s?"
IF we had an average to above average OL, would we still be in this position? And what does the OL look like next year?

Here's the question I have. Kelly has been a HC in college football for 34 years. Certainly, he knows how mission critical the OL is to having a good offense. See the link below for his comments from August on how good he expected our OL to be.... maybe the problem is talent evaluation? How did we go from Aug thinking we were good to where we are from actual results?
I'm concerned that Kelly's standard for what is good is not at a SEC standard and that's the core problem in our program. He hasn't adjusted at all levels to what it takes to win consistently in this league vs. other places he's been.
We've had decent OL recruiting per the external evaluations. I don't think we have anyone in the Will Campbell category this year, but I'm surprised Kelly thought it was good relative to where our actual performances are.

But Kelly knows O-line. Right?

It might say we're in the 60s, but we clearly have one of the worst OLs in college football this year!
Last year we finished last in the SEC in rushing and this year we're averaging 100 yards less offensively! We are big, slow and soft again and Davis has to go!
