Not a fan of how coaching search's create rabid expectations from “insiders” who typically know 1% of the story.
Did contact take place? Yes
Was it large in part about him coaching here? No.
Part of me believes it’s a purposeful. What bigger smoke screen is there then Nick Saban.
The actual name with the most heat carries a lot more weight.

I’ll believe it when I see Saban himself step up to the LSU podium. Even though Philly seems legit, I don’t believe the Saban stuff. Gotta be a massive smokescreen for someone else, knowing the fanbase would get caught up in the idea.
