"Vandy had 19 hits?"
I thought I read it wrong on the score board. They ended with 20 hits.

Wow this is news to me. Care to supply us with specifics and/or a source?

Can you expand on this?

The talent is there
No its not. PMs recruiting, kicking guys off the team, and injuries have come back to bite him in the arse. I have never seen an LSU team as thin as this. We can't even find someone that can hit .220 at fricking first base. We have a lineup full of 6 and 7 hole hitters. We have no depth period. Then Katz got hurt and now it's even worse than before, which was pretty pathatic to begin with. PM has played EVERYONE and every lineup possible and noone can do anything other than hit a seeing eye single with 2 outs only to have next guy hit a can of corn or strikeout. There are about 4 or 5 guys on this team, that don't even belong playing at SLU much less LSU.

Given up.
No. That's just your rationalization of the situation.
This team is getting beat consistently.

Not sure about that.

seems to me like he can't hold a job

Given up. It's pathetic, giving up 30 runs in an SEC wkend and they're getting worse
And I don't want to hear it's young, it's new bats....this is bullshite of the highest order
LSU is a resilient baseball team, and based on today's performance it is not fair at all to say they have given up. Vanderbilt is an elite team, tough for anyone to beat even once in a series.

If you watched that 2007 team, they were worse, they just got coached up.

Talent, Leadership, Chemistry, etc. . . . forget about that, fans, because that's not important to this team. These kids need to forget about the wins and losses and just have fun. They will never be college baseball players again.
I don't believe that any of them will have MLB careers of any significant length, so, they may as well have fun.

You don't think Mahtook, Gausman, McCune, Jacoby Jones, guys like that have a chance in the pros?

Yeah, that 2007 team was way worse than this one.
Which makes this year's collapse all the harder to swallow.

Of course they have a chance. They have a better than average chance to make a MLB roster.
I'm not here to argue about whether any of these kids will be in Cooperstown one day or not. I'm here to say that they should have fun and enjoy the rest of the season and forget about the wins and losses.
