I'm an LSU fan. Not an SEC fan. I hope they all lose. Them winning doesn't help LSU get better.

Well if you are an LSU fan you should. Alabama is our biggest competitor for 5* football players. They get more stars from Louisiana than Georgia and AU combined.
Knocking some of the awe that people feel about the Alabama program can only help.

Glad to see I'm not alone in thinking all this SEC fandom is garbage. Especially rooting for Alabama under any circumstances. Any success for them only helps them continue their dominance. How anyone would pull for Bama or Auburn for that matter just to pull for the SEC is mind boggling.

From an SEC point of view, Bama is the team most likely to win things.
From a "we have to compete and recruit against these guys", Georgia makes the most sense.
It's kind of an iffy thing for national respect; the Bama run is keeping the SEC at the top of college football. However, LSU and Florida didn't need to piggyback anyone (except maybe each other) to emerge in the 2000's. Go beat some national glamour teams, we reappear on the radar. We get Miami game one next year, if we beat them, all is good.

AU. I don't like them and I hate and have a serious cad of Bama fatigue. UGA largely dis credited themselves to me vs AU and why would I want an SECE team to win going through a pathetic conference schedule? I don't want an SEC team to win the Natty, either, too much recruiting ammo.

Since we are back to HUMANS and POLITICS doing the final standings for the season, it may not matter, but I would choose Auburn since we beat the for SOS factor

People who root for other SEC teams to win the national championship are absolutely braindead. Most kids these days don’t want to work hard to build a program in their own backyard. They’d rather go where it’s already established. If you’re an LSU fan you want the rest of the SEC to go .500 or worse.
