Arkansas is as good or a better team than Florida. They shoot the three well. And Calipari is an NCAA Tournament winning coach. LSU will NOT upset the Hogs on the road. This isn't 2015 again and there's no Keith Hornsby on this year's team, no one has the range-- and it's sad to say LSU basketball has fallen this far in ten years, but-- Coach McMahon is no Johnny Jones!!!

Tomorrow's game starts at 4 pm. I think it was move up cause of the pending ice storm

Well, doesn’t hurt to be positive. Just don’t bet the farm on it. I agree that cal’s teams haven’t ground us into the dust like they should have been. I also think that arky’s guards are going to be trouble for us to defend. They shoot the 3 pretty well which is bad news since we don’t defend it very well. But they don’t really shoot a ton of 3’s.

Debatable IMHO, but they are talented, all Calapari teams are talented.,,he pays Wes to make sure of that.

Hey I loved Hornsby, he's on the staff for this team. But he's an odd one to pick out to say we have no one like him. McKinnon is very much like him, probably a better shooter - can't dunk like Hornsby I get that. Horsby averaged 11 pts a game in 2 years and shot 39% from 3 - Mackinnon averages 15 a game and shoots 42% from 3.
A better reference might be we have nobody like Mickey and Martin on this team. We don't. Our point guard this year is better than our point guard on Hornsby's team when healthy. Not sure how ready he'll be today - we'll see.
Now do I think we'll win today - No - but I'll be pulling for us.
I see the game time has been moved - what channel?

This isn’t a must win, but if they win… they are McMaking the NCAAT

I know that makes you feel better, but they just need to finish 8-10 this year

We probably will have no answer for Acuff. He torched Houston who is a much better program and is led by a coach who is light years ahead of McMahon (who isn’t)

Doubtful. A fluke win could happen (ESPN analytics actually gives LSU a 25% chance to win tonight) but if that happens it doesn't make LSU a tournament team. It would be only the second win of the season for the Tigers-- LSU needs at least 8, which appears unattainable for this team.

Would absolutely kill to finish anywhere near 8 conference wins with this team, realistically though I gotta believe 5-6 wins is the ceiling.
We probably lose tonight but McMahon actually has an 3-3 record against Arkansas so maybe there’s a chance…and we should have a great chance in the next two. But then you have a five game stretch that we may win 1 game out of those.
We know it is tournament or bust, if we get to say 4-9 before the Bama game can we legitimately expect to go 5-0 or 4-1 in the stretch. We haven’t seen it before with McMahon, does he have it?

He really needs to beat Arky in BR. This one would be nice too though

This is the best team he’s had at LSU & his best player is healthy again

Tournament or bust. He’s had four years. More than enough time. We’re ready for some wins.

I agree it’s the best team in terms of talent. This should be a 10-11 win conference team…sucks that Thomas went out when we had a great chance to start conference strong but it is what it is.

The three wins have all been in the PMAC, two of them by small margins, late. The three losses in Fayetteville have all been blowouts, and there's no reason to believe tonight will be any different
