We could hire Phil Jackson and half the rant would melt that it's not Wade.
I hope for y'alls sake you're right.

I have no idea who the next coach will be but I would think Wade would at least get a call to see if he’s interested.

There will be a huge push to hire him. Not sure if it will get done, but it won’t be lack of effort.
Not from anyone at LSU. The entire LSU administration including the BOS didn’t like Wade. There is zero chance he will ever coach at LSU again.
There are two former coaches that will never be welcomed back on campus for anything. Curley and Wade.

Wade was a cool dude. Always stopped and bs with me and my nephew when I had season tickets. Talked about players from the coast and players from the past. Never felt rushed to move on to talk to someone else,
Wade wants to be John wooden (titles wise). If he gets the support he can win here. We saw it.
Wish Mac was more successful but it’s hard to get excited when it’s not consistent.
Anyone who doesn’t want Wade here I question if they really care about the program or the fan base.

He took McNeese State to the tournament twice and got their first win. That is objectively a better performance than the current coach who had better resources.
Alternatively there may be better options outside of Wade.

So LSU is just going to write a check to NC St? Yeah OK.

I don't know how realistic him coming back is but his buyout is not that large.

You do realize that administration is gone, right? And the current school president was his president McNeese.
You also realize that the current BOS has at least one person that is close fiends with Wade.

It is time for The General's return!

WW aint coming back to this dumpster fire. NC St job is 100x better than the clown show in BR. I had this feeling at the 10 minute mark in the 2nd half , that Kentucky was going to win. Lsu wont win 6 conference games.

It's not that I don't want him here. If he came back, great. But there are a lot of other coaches out there who could inject energy in this program the way he did--we've seen it happen around the SEC with a lot of new coaches recently. I don't subscribe to the idea that it's Wade or bust. You can really care about the program and fanbase by just wanting any competent, yet-to-be-named coach. It doesn't start and end with the pear. Great coach, would love to have him, but I wouldn't expect it.
AGAIN, because I really feel like I have to repeat this to some of you (not you specifically), that doesn't mean I'm defending the current coach (that part will undoubtedly be ignored). He needs to go.

Men's basketball is irrelevant at LSU.
Those believing Wade is coming back are either autistic or just stupid.
Women's basketball is king.

Until it’s not. Just takes the right guy, Wade or not.

It was pretty common around here.

These two guys have told us how terrible of a coach and person he is for so long.
They’re not wrong. It’s just that it’s so obvious that he is a terrible coach and person that most of us don’t feel the need to say it on the regular.

Not a chance in hell LSU hires him back. You know how bad the optics would be? Ogeron "loved" LSU, and look where he's at. The unemployment line. The program needs a total douche cleanse from top to bottom. Bad enough there is a clown coaching the football program. Not enough room in the circus for another .

He has a .701 winning percentage. You make outstanding points regarding Will Wade. Please keep your pearls of wisdom flowing.
