Was Clemson loud last year?
And that's definitely the most cramped major stadium I've ever been in.

They piped in a lot of music. Wasn’t too loud other than that.

That’s saying something right there !

Reminded me Athens experience for the game.
Doesn’t compare to Auburn, Agm, Florida

It was insane. I think we moved a few hundred feet in an hour

I didn't think it was that loud. It was like being in a sardine can though. We had some fans in front of us that kept giving us cut eye when we cheered after TDs or big plays or responding to the band fight song. Then after they started realizing they were getting pushed all over the field turned into cry babies over every call or non call. They're probably a great fan base when they win, but they weren't prepared for what followed. It was fun watching their infant fans throw a fit.

Hard to believe there's traffic worse than Tiger Stadium.

I've been to every SEC campus at least once except SCar, Missouri and OK. Don't listen to some of this nonsense. Yes, Clemson was awesome. It was a fantastic experience. Was it "loud?" Yes. How loud is up to interpretation. They were great fans. The lower bowl stood pretty much the entire game.
Obviously, it's not as big as the biggest SEC stadiums but it was definitely a great game atmosphere.
The whole experience reminded me of a bigger Ole Miss (minus the concentration of fans in the Grove). The campus was nice and resembled OM a bit. The overall gameday was impressive. I've been to OM at least 7 times and, again, while not as big as the biggest, their gameday is impressive so putting Clemson in that category is excellent. I would rank the overall experience higher than UK, Vandy (obviously), Ark and about equal to Florida. Florida had very little tailgating, the stadium isn't 100k and the fans weren't great so I think there's some justification there. There were times in Fayetteville you would not have known there was a game that day. There just wasn't an elite "atmosphere." We kept asking where the fans were. But that's not to say Ark isn't a great atmosphere. I'm just explaining the distinctions.
Would I want to go back to Clemson. Absolutely! Will I drive there again? No. Too far.

No, very underwhelming. We went to the game at South Carolina the year before and Willy B was much louder.

Can't be loud waiting 30 minutes for concessions

Yeah the opening kickoff and drives were VERY loud and I was impressed after that fairly tame. Was strange.
Had some odd traditions I.e. mini cannon but those are what make college football unique.
Overall they were the most welcoming opposing fanbase I have been around. Everyone was genuinely nice. Some of it may be the OOC nature of the game as opposed to SEC rival but I had a great time.

Not really... and 3/4 of their crowd was too busy watching the drone show to stand up or get loud in the most important series of the game
The scoreboard catching fire was pretty wild.
It was fun going on the field after the game. a cool tradition I will give them that.

Eh....in big moments they get loud, but overall their atmosphere isn't great. IHave attended multiple games there and it is never really that intimidating. USCe by comparison is MUCH louder and the energy never stops. Both of them pale in comparison to Tiger Stadium when it is full tilt

I moved here 2 years ago. Their fanbase is apathetic and are completely in on Dabo for life despite his refusal to adjust to the new era. Its kinda sad

I was there. Lower bowl was plenty loud. The peeps I talked to who were in the upper deck said it wasn’t loud at all. I think their upper deck not being closed in makes the noise escape easily and makes it not that loud. Lower bowl was rocking.

Complete pathetic experience from start to finish crowd and facilities wise.

Ask the truly honest players after the beat down in September of Clemspsum. Also ask Stephylin Green, hopefully he has ample playing time being on our sidelines against his former ball club.
