It’s possible to believe we’re done with this nonsense while simultaneously believing it shouldn’t be Wade either.

Like saying after getting rid of Nikki Fargas “Bring Back Pokey!” Instead of “Go Get Kim!”

It's getting close, but too early in the season.

Just let McHallman do what he does.

Time will fly by and he'll be done.

Before you know it, Rousse will be making that call to Gangsta Pear. (That is who we want, huh?...........And I don't want to read any BS from any of you Pumptard MA's)

I’d rather someone come in who can get the Tigers past the Sweet 16.

So you think NIL removed the advantage Wade had???

Almost all the top players went to other schools FOR FREE??????

You can't possibly be that naive, can you????

If you don’t think he’s the target of the upcoming basketball search, then you’re mistaken

Rousse is president, Schueyer will be here in some capacity soon, and the Governor is very much on board.

ETA. Scott and Tate are gone.

Yes, but what makes people think that Will Wade wants to come back.

He won't. He's at a better place now working for an administration that actually cares about their basketball program. Good for him.

The Wolfpack Waded for him. I’m pretty sure he’s found his forever home barring some kind of failure. Tobacco Road is the promised land of basketball. Let his future success there forever fuel your anger, and be a testament to how Woodward fricked LSU basketball into total oblivion forever.

You think the ACC can compete with SEC money?

We are paying McMahon more than NCST is paying Wade.

Not saying it’s definitely going to happen, but it’s a possibility that both sides are open to.

He’d be working for a President he previously worked for, in a state he and his family have lived for 7 of the last 8 years, with a fanbase who now loves him more and a donor base he already knows within a conference that far outpaces financially the one he’s currently in

That dude had to fight tooth and nail and drag our AD kicking and screaming to get what little support he could muster. LSU simply doesn't care about MBB. Never has and never will. I don't understand it, but it's a fact. Our facilities are shite and we're paying McMahon less than any other coach in the conference. They're getting exactly what they're paying for. The only two good coaches we've ever had in Brown and Wade had to basiclly do everything on their own.

He wasn’t the lowest paid HC in the league when he was hired. In fact, he was one of the highest paid HCs of the 6 that were hired by SEC teams in that cycle. The fact that he is one of the lowest paid now is indicative of the fact that he’s done nothing in his time at LSU to warrant a pay bump. That’s why everyone else caught up and passed him. Unless perhaps you are suggesting that if LSU gave him a pay increase despite a sub .300 winning % vs Power conference teams it would suddenly transform him into a good coach. Hell, LSU is paying McMahon this season more than NC State is paying Wade

Old news from a bygone era. You know who agrees? Will Wade. He, himself, said NIL funding is what matters. Otherwise, a coach will have a bunch of MMMFs (mid major mother fu___ers) getting their asses kicked in a really nice gym. His words. Not mine

.

You on realize that AD is gone, right. And the school president he loved at McNeese is at LSU.

Also important to note that he was not the first choice for NCST’s AD.

I don’t think the synapses in some of our dear posters’ brains actually connect.

“We don’t want a coach who was (purportedly) good at paying players…in an era where you have to pay players”
