And had the second most players drafted...maybe, just maybe it was a coaching problem.

You explanation is exactly why we shouldn’t put stock into last years results lol. None of those issues still apply. Your post had the exact opposite result you wanted it to lol

Michigan St went from 2-5 in the Covid year to 11 and 2. They revamped their roster with 11 transfers.

"OMG. You can't go 6-7 to 10-2" Idiot.

We could easily have won 9 games last year with all the nonsense that was going on. We had chances to put AU away, we had numerous chances to beat Bama, and we should have beaten Arky. With this coaching staff, 10 wins is a real possibility.

Eh, Vegas tries to set lines to have equal betting on both sides. That's why it fluctuates as bets come in.

It's not a matter of knowing or not knowing all.

And lost to Kansas State by 3 tds with a backup WR at QB, we also had like 30 scholarship players at that point. So I feel like we need to temper the expectations a little bit, 8-4 would be an incredible achievement

Unless you’re thinking that a WR is still our QB and that we’re still at 30 scholarship players, how is this relevant and why should we temper expectations?

Because like another guy stated earlier, it’s extremely difficult to go from that in January to a 10-2 floor in a handful a months. We need to give BK time. I’m just worried about the negativity that could hurt our program if we aren’t a top team in the country. We have a losing record over the last two seasons, we need to take that into account. Saban’s first year at Bama was 6-6.

The above is the reason that LSU fans can legitimately be optimistic that the product will be much better in 2022. We have holes for sure, but plenty of talent in most spots and a structure and staff in place to make the most of it. There will inherently be growing pains with a new staff and new culture, sometimes you take a step back in areas to move forward. But LSU is capable of surprising a lot of people this year.

Are you serious. We had a new coaching staff, D and O, and a HC with his mind somewhere else.
There were enough players on the team drafted to show that was not representative of our talent.
We still have talent and solid coaches at every position. Depth may be a problem if we have unusual amount of injuries.
We are going to shock the chicken littles that pretend to be fans.

We all expect improvement from last year. Exactly why I'm taking the over 7 total wins.

We will also have a coach that will be coaching instead of pounding on some bimbo

A 2 game turnaround would be "incredible"? Sounds pedestrian to me. Incredible would be winning ten games and a bowl. This is LSU.

I don't often advocate for the ban hammer, but you're a fricking clown on every board.
