I’d love to say, coffin meet nail. But with a 7-year deal and a supposedly solid recruiting class coming in, I fear that he’ll get one more year to turn things around. The biggest hope is that this loss, in front of officials and former players, serves as a wake-up call that this program is hopefully stuck in what can best be called mediocrity.

Buddy, your coach is going to impact this one way or another. We are one of the highest bidders in women’s basketball and lose over $5m a year in the sport. The coach demands commitment from the university and gets it because she’s an elite coach who can influence things. Wade was getting plenty of under the table money to recruits and even went into his own pocket when needed.
A coach is the CEO of the program. He’s responsible for everything.

It doesn't matter how good the recruiting class is that's coming in next year, they will regress under Mcloser! He can't coach basketball period,what do have to get by 50 at home to south Carolina for someone in the fricking Administration to give a Frick and fire this Fricking CLOWN immediately, come on this can't on for one more day,one more week,one more month,or one more year it is time for fricking Fat arse Woodward to give a shite about the men's basketball program! Texas isn't mid. They are just outside the top 25, and I expect them to be ranked. With that said, this was an unacceptable beat-down. They made Texas look like world-beaters. LSU has looked pretty good recently, despite losing to Alabama and Auburn, but today they looked bad at everything. CMM has no answers, and that is unacceptable. They have enough talent to be competitive, but they are too disorganized. This is a coaching problem. I've defended CMM, because I thought losing Ward and Reed made the team less competitive, but they should be more competitive than this, and they should be fixing some of their problems. I think CMM needs to go as well. I now think we will be lucky to win another game, because even South Carolina is playing better than LSU. If we only win 1 more game, I think CMM should be fired, and it is hard to believe we'll win 2 more games.

Mens basketball has been irrelevant since 2006. Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee have put an emphasis towards the mens basketball programs in recent years. Lsu has not, plain and simple. Besides, it never was an attractive job to begin with. Louisiana doesn't have the HS talent anymore. The few that can play, aren't going to Baton Rouge. Everyone can bitch, moan, and say fire the coach. What is that going to solve? They'll just make another bad hire, and get the same results. Until the athletic department and university want to take it seriously, they'll be an NIT bubble team every year.

We went 15-3 and won the SEC in 2018-2019. Got knocked out of the tournament in the Sweet 16 by a hall of fame coach that sent Zion packing the next round.
