Full disclosure: I watch almost zero women's basketball.
But I did watch a good bit a couple years ago when we played Iowa and Caitlin Clark. Kim had Van Lith guarding Clark and it wasn't working at all.
But she never changed - when everyone watching saw that it needed to change. And of course we lost that game.
Even the greatest coaches still have weaknesses, and it's acceptable to ask about it.

Since KM came "home" I have watched every LSUWBB game plus many, many others. The things so many "experts" here complain about are characteristic of WBB at large. Especially close-in missed shots.
A seasoned WBB HC explained to me that females are (1) shorter than males, 2) have shorter arm lengths than males, and (3) cannot jump as effectively as men. These facts make them less effective under the basket especially against players taller than them.

She had good defense on that big girl from Texas and forced her to miss…..the other girl got beat every time that big Texas girl was under the basket….but I do agree, Koval needs to strengthen her hands and make quicker decisions…

I get it. People bitch about coaches incessantly. But wouldn't intelligence and common sense dictate that one would trust the coach who has won 4 titles, including one at your school just a couple years ago?
