At the end of the 2 qtr, Campbell stepping on Nuss’s right foot. He was inaccurate after. He’s plant foot his mechanics were off

Meh. Kyle Field didn’t bother him in the first half.

Confidence.
In the second half when he got to check I to plays he wanted the entire drive they marched right down the field and scored. He was very confident that series and killed it.
Play calling sucks and is completely unimaginative. Short out routes and runs up the middle.
He ends up forcing the balls to make plays. Like that last INT instead of throwing to the sideline where the receiver has position.

Throwing against your body into the middle of the field is asking for an interception, even if you name is Patrick Mahomes.
Tuck it and run there, get the first down and keep the drive alive on a busted play. It was there.
And then we let that badness snowball.

It’s time to put some respect on Kyle field.
I know it’s hard bc muhDeathValley, but our team was completely lost and rattled for most of the second half bc of the noise
Granted, I didn't go last night, but I've been to Kyle Field several times in the past. I'd say that Williams-Brice is louder, and he didn't seem to be bothered by the noise there.

I’m kind of tired of his overhype too. All I see on TV is him and that joke of a lawyer. Both mediocre at best. But yes he hurt poor little Nussie’s ankle and then Nussie couldn’t play football anymore. Soft weak arse team!!

Nuss will be a one and done in the NFL

His recievers dropping everything? His offensive line not doing their job? His OC calling bullshite plays? His special teams letting him down over and over or it could be the 107k fans going crazy like LSU did Ole Miss. Nuss had a bad 2nd half but the circumstances crwated this second half implosion.

Nothing happened. Playing a higher level of talent feasted on the poor decisions he has gotten away with against lesser teams
A&M isn’t more talented than Ole Miss or South Carolina, on defense. They aren’t that much better than Arkansas honestly.

don't think he was rattled. he had a bad night compounded with some terrible decisions. he was getting better about that but regressed. Hope he can shake it off and come back.

#5 should have been kicked out the game

I was really shocked at how Nuss just fell apart . He reverted right back to his high school days and that's not a good thing!

Defenses with good front fours can play man on the backend because Nuss is not a threat to run. Until he runs for 5-10 yards when he has an opportunity, we will have to rely on accurate throws

Yeah I think that first critical pick made him shell shocked

Nuss with poor throws was also bailed out by receivers. Even the long YAC TD pass to Anderson was behind him

When they got that TD and saw we couldn’t run they just pinned their ears back on the DL. Their DL has a ton of talent and when they don’t respect the run they are going to beat guys in pass protection. Our dumbass OC needed to call some short passes in the middle of the field. Maybe like the TD Anderson had on the first half.

There were a couple A&M defenders closing on him. Granted, he did finish a run for a first down with power last night, but I don't think the run was the best option on that play.
It looked to me that he had Zavion Thomas open, running back to him. To me, that would've been the best option.
And yeah, those contortion throws are difficult. But more generally, when they connect on extended plays, people love them. That one just didn't have the right angles and dimensions to connect. But if there's a receiver running open in the same direction as the QB in that type of scenario, it's doable. That's a type of play that Nussmeier could even use the "fadeaway" throw that he has in his arsenal with a defender closing on him. Some of these types of things just gradually get better with more in-game experience, because the live scenarios aren't really simulatable in practices.

He's a good qb with a good arm but if he throws it 1000 times a game, there will be devastating picks just as a law of averages.
We must have a running game to balance it out.

He is prone to what you witnessed last night. The lack of running game revealed his impulsiveness when under pressure. It is nothing new which is troubling.
