Gotta have the purple heavy polyester coaching shorts and the Oakley wrap-around LSU sunglasses for the complete look.

On Gameday, jersey, hat, socks, belt, and boxers. Every game. Back in 91 my dad bought me an official jersey, #7 (fav number), got my name put on the back. Wore it to every game up until 2006. By this time I was married and the wife was tired of it, the family was tired of it, etc. On Christmas morning, 2006, I opened up a gift from the wife and it was my jersey, matted and framed, as if retired. She immediately handed me the next gift, which was a brand new Nike jersey, #7, with my name on back. That jersey, fellow rantards, is 1-0 when it comes to Nat'l Championships. So I think I'll be sporting it again this season.

I'm pretty conservative with the typical LSU t-shirt and/or hat.
Unlike others on here though, I love seeing the LSU fans sporting the full LSU wardrobe. That is one of the things I hear other fans saying about LSU..."Their fans are great, they'll wear some crazy shite." It is one of the things that makes LSU unique. We have some crazy arse fans that come to cheer on the Tigers and don't give a crap about making a fashion statement.

A few mentioned wearing a jersey to the game. From what I've seen, not many down south do that. At OSU on gameday, about 50% of the fans have on a jersey of a famous/current players number. Is having a jersey just not as big down south?

Men have fought and died for our right to wear whatever we want, or say whatever we want in the best and free-est country on Earth. End of discussion.
Where do you shut it down when it comes to LSU clothing?

Lots of people wear jerseys down here. I don't know why the wierdos on this board condemn them. I think they look good.
I wear my LSU shirt, my LSU thong, my LSU visor, and my LSU thingy that goes around my pony-tail - I don't know what its called, its kinda like a ribbon but made into a scrunchy.

Yeah I wear a jersy to games too. There is a group of people that, for some strange reason, have a huge problem with someone if they wear a jersey. Doesn't make much sense to me, I could careless what someone else wears to a game.

i'd never wear those to a game, but they could look good dressed up with the right fit of dark jeans

If you are over 18 and wear a jersey, sit in Hooters with a cap on backwards, the "L" doesn't stand for LSU. I'll bet you have a favorite picture of yourself standing next to your tricked out Camero.

Another douchebag that's actually bothered by what LSU gear another person chooses to wear at an LSU game.

Shut er down at a dental floss bikini if you're a man... actually no bikinis at all if you're a man. You know what... if you're a man keep all clothes on, however much of it is Purple and Gold is a matter of personal taste. This rule does not apply to ladies though.
