That’s not optimal. Weeks is a pivotal player in containing Pavia.

I tore two ligaments (grade 3) in my ankle and had a bone bruise back in March. The bone bruise hurt like hell and I couldn’t jog for a few months due to the pain. Granted I’m around 15 years older than Whit. I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t miss a couple games.

Coach Kilmer would handle this situation with the quickness.

You can’t deaden a bone bruise. It would take enough opioids to knock him out.

I once had a contusion to my knee that resulted in a bone bruise to my femur. It was very painful, had me on crutches for a week and took 3 weeks for the swelling in the knee to go down.
Hopefully his isn't as bad, this is definitely the stretch of the schedule where he is needed.

This comment cracked me up. A bone bruise is a bruise on the bone, not the skin. No... you couldn't have been a doctor. nice troll

Mental injury also. I mean where is your head if you are fixated on dating the daughter of the OM HC?

Unless I am mistaken, Whit calls the signals for the front seven. The "game time decision" will be based on how much pain he has and if you are confident that the backups can call the sets/adjustments.

I played with a hairline fracture my junior year in HS but never sat out. Was extremely painful and very much affected my play . Didn’t find out till after season was over. Different times back then.

Bone bruise is not the same as a muscle or flesh bruise. That is to the bone itself and its significantly more painful and harder to deal with. Gooden has a bone bruise on his collarbone. The concern is not just pain tolerance.

I would hate to lose Weeks for even one game but Keys and Singleton are quality backups. There won't be a gaping hole.

I really hope you are right, but I'm not as confident in this as you might be considering the opponent.
