I mean he is 29 and just launched LSU's offense into the stratosphere.

idk if LSU has EVER been ranked this high in total and scoring offense at any point in the season.

So yeah, he will be a hot name.

But we aren't letting him go anywhere.

WEll match money offers and probably and title offer outside of HC.

I don't think he is getting a HC offer outside a tiny little school.

LSU better say screw Ensminger if that is the case. Orgeron can't be dumb enough to say that Ensminger has already learned what is needed, because that is not the case. Guys like Brady are constantly growing and adding to their schemes. This is not a "already learned it" system. This is a creative and constantly evolving system. Hopefully the new AD will take the blinders off of Orgeron and help him make the right decision.

Just have Coach E keep the playbook and have the team watch saints videos from the past couple years and we'll be alright

They lose him to the NFL or if he wants the offense to himself (no ensminger).

They give him a very nice bonus this season, then make him co-OC along with E next year, with the OCIW guarantee and at least double his current 2019 salary.

At the end of 2020 (or early 2021), E steps away to be with his family- something he has openly desired for quite some time. Brady immediately becomes the lone OC and his pay bumps to comparable to what Aranda is making.

This is a nice bonus, from having a guy like Orgeron not demanding the $7-10mm per that your Herman's and Fisher's call for. It's more feasible to spread money around.

I do not believe for even one instant that Woodward will let someone steal Brady away without a hell of a fight, and making that someone pay$$$ dearly.

Yeah, well... Bill Gates was a college drop-out who was behind in his office rent when he came up with an operating system (from someone else) for the PC.

At the highest levels, NO ONE gives a shite about your bona fides - either you can produce the big wins, or you can't.

Coach E has over 20 years in the La retirement system. He will probably take a lesser role for a few years and retire. He is 60 now and I would guess LSU finds a nice spot for him for the next 2 years. Dude is a Tiger through and through. Brady will get his payday.

Because “Dan from Louisiana” said so on Finebaum, and his (Dan’s) “source” confirmed it.

I think his point was that when we gave him 450K that was a great deal for a guy with his resume.

Obviously that number is going to change going forward, but no one was giving him a million dollars in 2019.

I would be flabbergasted if Joe Brady is coaching anywhere else next year.

We have no idea how much of the offense he is running.

Saban scarred this program for life it looks like. We sniff anything good and our fans prematurely and ignorantly flip out.

Because LSU fans have to find something to be miserable about.

Whether he is running 100% of the offense, or 0% of the offense, he is getting major credit for it. That credit isn't just coming from LSU fans either. The national media is totally on board.

Take a look at the recent trend of hirings in the NFL. It is mainly young, offensive minded coaches. Joe Brady fits into that mold.

I'm not saying he is going to leave after one year, but if he launches LSU offense into the top tier of college football he will be hard to keep at LSU for a long time. Even if his bump next year, or in two years, is to OC of LSU it is going to be hard to keep him around for a long time if this offense keeps producing.

If/ when make the playoffs power 5’s are gonna be lined up around LSU Joe Brady is the next “ big” thing so to speak. He’s definitely gone , this young man is about to be really rich.

Is this gonna be like Saban all over again? Every time a job opens up panic goes through Tigertown. I hope not because those old enough to remember his last 2 years were sick of hearing he was gonna take another job.

LSU hasn't had anything resembling a competent passing scheme since 2014 but that's mostly because you had Mettenberger and Jarvis and Odell on the outside. It was talent driven not schematic. Brady comes in and in one year orchestrates a passing game worthy of an Oklahoma or Clemson. So yes, lots of people are seeing this on display and that's what teams are looking for in coordinators. He will definitely be getting some calls if the season continues how it is going.

SE is in last year of contract as OC

This is a transition year of brady/SE

SE will either retire or move to position coach

Brady will get OC position with $800-$1mm pay with 3/4 year contract.

Book it.

yeah i think it was pretty clear in the offseason if this experiment worked out, Brady would move to OC and SE would go back to "TE" coach, aka, OC-lite. that's basically what SE has been while at LSU, other than when O has had him be full time OC.

SE is the guy O trusts and he's going to be retained in some fashion under O until he retires

Why does he have to be gone. Woody knows how to cut a deal.

I think what most people are concerned with is waiting too long. LSU is in the driver;s seat right now. That won't be the case after the regular season is over and a dozen or more Power-5 programs are hiring coaches like crazy.

I think it is highly unrealistic that he takes any job without at least letting LSU counter that offer.

And i think there is a real structure already in place for him.

And as we all know the media never runs with a narrative.

For all we know Brady is as integral to this offense as he was to the Saints offense. I think the offensive staff, led by O and E is doing a great job. I also think we know very very little about him at this point.

Everyone should sit back, enjoy the year and let O dictate the next move. IF Brady is implementing and calling his own offense and he gets production out of the guys the remainder of this year and next. If he produces as the better defenses come up on the schedule, if he recruits well......then the administration will have discussions with him and his future.

No real program would roll the dice on him for a while, and we will be in the drivers seat if and when that time comes.
