Did you happen to hear Seth Greenberg on Sunday? That guy was full of the lulz.

No. I missed that. He took time from complaining about why his team didn't make the NCAA tourney to talk shite about LSU?

Why is the national CFB media misrepresenting facts about LSU? Miles' refusal to be forthcoming about facts opens up tons of speculation that often times can be miscontrued and result in negative pub for LSU.
Miles seems to be under the impression that the media are going to speculate and write various opinion pieces regardless of what he says and does. If he is right about that (seems plausible) then he is doing the right thing by shedding as little light into the personnel issues on his team as possible. The less material the writers have to work with the more unfounded their speculations become. Once the season kicks off writers will have actual information to work with and will move on from the tabloid BS (except hacks like GG)..

Why is the national media ignoring that Les Miles has not acknowledged whether or not Hill will play and that the team vote merely reinstated him to the team?
Because they are the national media...and are idiots.

Jeremy Hill is going to play against TCU because the team voted him to.

Take them to task on Twitter.

"Withholding from play" could simply reference Madden 25.

Actually, halftime cage match between Hill & Fields could be interesting and draw additional advertising revenue.

The national media doesn't cover or follow LSU as in depth as the fans and local media. Les is almost always vauge, and sometimes incomprehensible in his explanations of just about everything. Once news broke that Hill's probation wasn't going to be revoked, the next thing we heard from Les was that the team voted to allow Hill to rejoin them. There was nothing then, like there is nothing now, to definatively indicate whether or not Hill will miss any games. Most LSU fans think he will, but Les hasn't come out and said as much publicly. That's certainly Les's perrogative as the HC. However when you leave speculation out there, people are just going to report the things they know and try to fill in the gaps.
Right now, all the media knows for a fact is that Hill's teammates voted to allow him to rejoin the team. They don't know for a fact whether he is "suspended", or if he will play against TCU. Without being told otherwise, the national CFB media is just assuming that Hill will play. Les could clear up any confusion by saying one way or the other but that's not what he's chosen to do, which is again, his right as the HC

He shouldn't have to clear anything up. He's given as much (or probably more) information as is necessary. The media should stick to the information they're given and not make things up to be outraged about.

You're 0-2 on jokes. You may want to just hang it up now.

Give it one game. Then people won't be talking about Hill anymore. They'll be talking about how underrated the Tigers were coming in...
After 1 game they will have actually college football to talk about. Right now they are just searching for anything to give to the fanbase that's been waiting for football. Right now people are craving it and they have nothing to feed them. Thus you get what you are getting. Regardless of whether or not Hill plays, it's unlikely to be a big deal either way. You will hear more about it if he does play, but if Hill is held out of the game, it likely will be a a small comment at best because the media will have something much more valuable to spend their air-time on.

Hold On. I attempted a 3rd in a different topic. There's still a chance.
Oh wait....yeah, I better hang it up. Wish I would have seen your post prior to making that final fateful attempt.

I think cause if Miles was going to suspend him, he would have by now.
No?

What is Miles' history of discussing suspensions that are under his control?

Personally, I don't think that Les would let Hill play against TCU and then hold him about against UAB and Kent St.... he's not Jim Tressell after all.
