Ideally I’d say:

LSU, Tenn, Ark
USC,UCLA, Oregon.

That would be a badass weekend

I hope they come back to Houston. That game a few years ago against Texas at Minute Maid/Daikin Park was electric.

I really enjoyed the Frisco tournament as well

I think LSU likes playing the Indianas and Notre Dames of the world in these tournaments.

I don’t know that we would play UCLA and those types of teams early.

I could see Fullerton, Long Beach State, Irvine, Utah, Arizona State, Texas Tech and schools like that.

I doubt CJJ would want to play in Vegas. He likes to use these tournaments for recruiting......Texas last year, Fla. this year as both are great recruiting areas for LSU.

I hope we stay out of the Astros tournament. B*tch all you want about these tournaments, but Round Rock, Frisco, Jax are all better ball parks, better experiences than Daikin—Daikin is dark and dank. Give me a great minor league park any day. And, I am saying this is as a HTX resident.

Flame away!

In the spring yes it is dank. Once the roof is open things get much better at Enron Field.

There is no heating in Daikin. Come April you don’t need it. College baseball is too early for games in Houston. That’s why the do spring in Arizona or Florida.

Could LSU use it to get exposure in California? Vegas is my hometown so I would love a tourney there. The bar in vegas where my brother frequents had a manager who's son was a walk on a couple years ago. She fave an interesting story of how far ahead the SEC was over California programs. Not sure how accurate but it was interesting why they made the choice to just walk on here. I think he only made it a year or two. The competition here was above him

That's ironic, coming from a park that is named after the world's large HVAC manufacturer.

Still miss the old Superdome tourney. Much better competition than these D1 deals.

Are you suggesting he doesn't recruit Las Vegas?
