He didn't beat LSU. Les did.

If Les doesn't go for it on 4th that early on that side of the field they likely don't get the fg.. we only lost by 2

We had a pick 6 off him and another int I believe and he threw no Tds

Not trying to be negative... but Wisconsin is NOT good. Whether or not we can somehow become good remains to be seen. The odds aren't in our favor though.

With Etling we likely win that game 28-10ish. That's what is so depressing.

For its big game against Mich State, Wisconsin is going with a RS freshman. Makes that loss even more depressing and maddening.

Sounds like LSU did a better job of making a quicker decision to bench their opening starter QB.

If I remember correctly the Ohio State offense at least had a pulse during that game.

Actually, no, you'd be wrong. Barrett was 9-29 for 219 yards 1 TD and 3 ints. They had 108 rushing yards as a team, and lost by 2 TDs at home. Everything that happened after that was an offensive explosion though.

Their lowest point total in any game after that was 31. However, they faced nobody worthy outside of Michigan St until they got to the Big 10 championship game.

While every West team is beatable, Ohio State's 2014 schedule doesn't come close to our 2016 one, 2015 one, or even the 2014 one. Our 4th best regular season opponent that year was 13th ranked Wisconsin that beat an 8-4 Auburn team by 3 points in the bowl game. Ohio State's 2nd best team they faced was an 8-4 Minnesota (which Ohio St came close to losing to).

They had a pretty poor defense in 2014 and gave up at least 20 points 10 times in 2014, at least 24 points 9 times, and at least 28 points 5 times. They pretty much won that year on offensive power.

well, to be fair...we have benched ours in the meantime too. No way we lose that game if Etling starts...Harris was etrocious, along with the Oline and we still almost won.

And the QB found that TE 7 times for 100 yards which hurt us a lot. But Les lost that game with an inept offense and now we know, using the wrong QB

Nah. He got plenty of help from Les Miles with that win,

LSU beat themselves that day. Les Miles, Cam Cameron, Oline, WR, and Harris. It's a lack of team effort from coach to player that beat us that day.

They didn't score a lot of points.

We just scored even less.

Their offense didn't beat anything in that game. They practically lived on the field the whole game and ONLY scored 16.
