Beau made some good contact last night. Shallow pop ups that couldn't find the ground.

Beau hit one that was 10 ft shy of a homerun. Or at least the 5' 4" LF made it look that way.

I would go with 230 lb G.K. Young with 17 HR or 6'2" 190 lb 3B Remillard with 19 HR if he would rather take a night off from the field and just DH. shite, maybe we could get that short Owings guy that plays outfield with his 16 HR. Damn that CCU coach must have a near mental meltdown making out the lineup.

As much as I'm down on Bryce Jordan right now, we really can't expect our hitters to score 8 runs and lose, then point at them as if that was their fault.

As someone already mentioned, Romero is 2-23 lately. Bryce Jordan has the highest OBP on the team. Neither of them have a prayer at hitting a breaking ball. There is no easy answer here.

2-23 and both were RBI's and one was the game winner. Why? Because that is what Romero does, he produces runs. When Bryce was swinging well he still never produced runs like Romero. He is still second on the team. Think about that, half the swings then any full time starter and still second in RBI an HR.
I'll put it to you this way, big papa was 0-40 a few years ago and the manager never even moved him in the order.
This shouldn't even be debatable, Paul called him the LF of the baseball team a month ago.
What if Miles plays for the tittle and never gives LF a carry?

8 runs should be enough to win with your #1 on the mound. The blame is on our inconsistent pitching staff.

The solution is dropping the DHs to 8th.

It makes sense for whoever anyone thinks should be the DH.

I wouldn't want Romero or the Jordan twins anywhere near the lineup since they are an automatic out now. However, the obvious problem is we don't have many replacements. Wofford, Breux, Dawson, etc. aren't exactly what I call world beaters at the plate.

I don't recall ever seeing a team sit their best hitter they have had all season for as long a period as LSU has. It doesn't matter if the guy is in a slump or not he is your Best
power threat(although Deichmann has come on as of late). I understand he's not a great option to catch but you know what you do then, you let him fricking DH. It's obsurd that Romero sits the bench when he provides much more at the plate then the Jordan twins. It's not so much about the Jordan twins as it is about not letting a good rbi machine provide for your team. Hell I could understand why Romero is struggling after you sit him for a month instead of letting him hit out of his slump. Great confidence builder for a kid. It's ridiculous imo.
