I've been pleasantly surprised that the offense has been able to keep the scoring high

Defensive TD against Miss St along with turnovers have made this offense scoring look way better than it is.

Lack of 3rd down production and misssed red zone touchdowns are the reason for two losses from an offensive look.

Sure the defense has not been good but this offense is far from productive.

Did you just make that up?

Does not compute in O scoring and TOs are severely diluted if they are you're only means of stopping drives.
The real measure is 4th in SEC scoring O vs 9th in scoring D vs teams ranked somewhat better defensively than offensively so far.

I think We are 3-0 with Burrow or Aranda

Joe gets us in the end zone vs Missouri and Joe definitely drops 60 on Miss State.

Brennan has been good but he has left TDs on the field.

Aranda is questionable. We didn’t have a lock down defense before we lost all our best players, but I still think we are good enough to beat Miss St and Missouri

Aranda

We have the statistical 2nd best QB in the SEC right now.

Aranda. E alone has proven he can at least be average. Pelini has been an absolute disaster

Burrow.

And I bet he agrees these days.

Aranda easily. Brennan is not Burrow but he is holding his own. I would take Brady next but offense is doing decent all things considered.

This is true. I think burrow coming off last year, no way he goes 23% in third downs and at the very least wins the Missouri game at the gl.

But still, if I had to choose, I would pick Aranda. This is the worst LSU defense in history. And we’ve played trash. I know offenses are much better now, but at the very least it’s the worst defense post Saban. That’s really bad.

Aranda without a doubt. The offense has some holes but it’s more than good enough

How is Marcel Brooks doing?

Is he playing or sitting out this season?

No way this collapse can be excused. It’s one thing to drop a couple of games but fielding this atrocious defense is..well, indefensible

not to mention those 2 losses? Those 2 teams only win thru 3 games. We are pre Nick Saban levels Bad this year. The excuses are there, so I am honestly ok for a season. Next year we need to be back in contention.

I get where you are getting this number from but it is a little misleading.

LSU has scored a touchdown or field goal 14 times and has 8 turnover but one turnover was a pick six and Todd Harris had an interception in the end zone that he returned to around the twenty so not exactly a short field and I’m sure there are a couple turnovers that resulted in no points.

The offense does have situational problems but overall it has been pretty good outside of the first quarter+ of the state game.

Brennan has played well enough to win
against exactly who? All seriousness. Burrow would have won all three of those games with his legs or head plus he would have made the defense better.
