Of course. There's secondary or tertiary (or beyond) evidence that Wade has committed some type of wrongdoing within the confines of the NCAA rulebook. The NCAA needs something better than a leaked snippet of a transcript of a taped conversation and a leaked snippet of a video of someone saying Wade told him something in order to do anything of note. Also, LSU is one of many, many other schools implicated in the whole mess. What, if anything, the NCAA does about all of this is anyone's guess but at this point I'm going to act on the assumption that we are OK. But hey, maybe the NCAA decides to tear down their whole billion(s) dollar scheme of their own making and in doing so Wade and LSU hoops are also taken down. I have a bit of a hard time seeing that come to fruition but I've never claimed to be clairvoyant.

The dude needs to fricking go, he is a stain on the University, get him out of there, it’s getting embarrassing.

You realize these hit pieces are meant to incite this very opinion you’re giving? Without proof you’d be allowing sports writers with agendas to dictate who LSU hires and fires.

Wade obviously needs to distance himself from these handlers.
Calipari and Coach K do it by former players running AAU teams and Kentucky and Duke benefactors sending those kids showcase their talents on those teams. And of course they are $trongly encourage to attend the respective schools. Programs like LSU just do not have that kind of network developed yet. It can takes decades to build that kind of network.

Wade has a reputation of not “kissing the rings” and didn’t come up through the normal channels so a lot of the big wigs resent him and these are the people behind the media tidal wave of negativity aimed at Will Wade.

Nothing I’m saying is unreasonable, it’s just not what anyone wants to hear. And because there is truth to it, it upsets people even more. That’s when you get death wished upon you rather than any sort of intelligent discussion. I’ve only really narrated thru this thing, and turned out to be pretty spot on.
This is the exact reason Alleva wasn’t fired. And the exact reason Lipsey hinted Wade was not out of the clear

I've heard this many times. I don't know the source but it is old information. It sounds really plausible so I'm going to believe it.

The stupidity of all this is that no one knows what actually happened. Hell, this Richardson guy could've been trying to justify why they were losing Reid when he was at Arizona for just that reason: to bring in Reid.
Seems logical to start saying things like "LSU is willing to pay for him or someone is offering big money to get this guy, and I have the power to make it happen, and they can just pay me half that."
Guy was bragging about it, but that doesn't mean it is true.
That all said, I hope College Hoops burns to the ground. I'm sick of this crap and the BS garbage that is AAU. It's embarrassing that we are basically having child trafficking and ponzi schemes rewarded and unpunished with how things are handled in basketball in particular.
College sports has just become pathetic in that way.

Also on tape, Richardson says LSU coach Will Wade offered him a job to help with recruitment of Naz Reid. Per Richardson, Wade said, “look, there’s a deal in place. I got $300,000 for him.” Richardson, “I said, give me half and I’ll make sure the kid goes there.”
Happier Times!

There’s a reason other coaches with higher profiles are getting a pass from the media when they have much more solid accusations against them. How big of a story is the Duke situation yet it’s ignored so that the media can attack a mid level programs head coach over unconfirmed rumors.

The NCAA could always just allow its member institutions to compensate players or at the very least allow players to capitalize off of their own likeness

I feel like with the bitch we have in compliance by now every inch of the athletic budget has been combed. If there are shenanigans she would have found something questionable enough to justify not reinstating Wade.

AAU has become a real problem. It's not only hurting college basketball it's hurting high school basketball. Kids would rather sit out the high school season and be healthy for the spring/summer AAU circuit when college coaches are recruiting. High school coaches were once important. Not so much anymore. It's the AAU coaches and handlers that are important and are only in it for the money. Not that that is bad in of itself but it is bad when it violates NCAA rules.

Sad part is its not about the kids in most of those instances. It's about pathetic adults trying to ride on these kids back for money and prestige. Sadly, college athletics has become that too.
That's why as much as I love LSU sports, I'd rather the entire structure that is AAU and the NCAA collapse than this BS we try to pass off as fair and equal sports marketing the "student-athlete".
