Or am I way off on understanding this? TIA!
Nope you pretty much got it!
The extra 20% will be leverage mostly.
Spot negotiation, demand surge, and slow time.

Ty!
When not well-versed on a subject, I sometimes just have to put it into my own words and get confirmation.....even tho, as I look back at it, you explained it well. Lack of confidence on my part, I suppose. Lol.

That's the best way to do it, no worries at all. Always good to make sure you understand it, especially in investing in speculatives.
I'm no pro in the stock market, but I do have an advantage on this one in that I'm a Chem E, I've worked in the lithium industry, I've worked on purchasing contracts, and I've worked specifically on brine contracts in the Smackover (though not with Lithium)

Is north of plain dealing Louisiana in play?

I always think "Iron Mike" in my head when reading posts. Then think about "Mike Tyson's Punchout!". Lol.

I am confused re: this morning's price action. This would appear to be a positive news release, no?

Same here. Rest of lithium sector is green, so it's SLI specific. Don't know if it's some sell the news algos or what. I'll grab some more shares, this is dumb, especially now that we're below the price where the offtake was announced. I think it does a steady climb back to green by end of day.

Lithium down, but we are waaaay up from this time last year. Could be some folks locking in long term gains. I've been accumulating a shite pot of cash for this. I may not buy anything other than my usual buys until April 4-7 timeframe.

Well I was saved from buying more today by grabbing more qqqi last week.

I lied. Had to at least nibble with another 5k shares. I told myself I'd buy below $4. Will probably add more if it hangs here. Parks has bought a couple million shares recently, so I don't think it's more than a blip. Gotta have some balls to ride this horse.

I'm at 52k shares, had 14 on the first run up. A ran the question of what a fair value for SLI at production in 2028 would be, by Grok and Brave AI, both came back in the 9-13.50$ range, this question was only pertaining to their SW Arkansas play.

That's about what I have figured using a lithium price of $22,500/ton.
