Not crazy about the 15% tariff (not the end of the world though), I’m just glad we may get certainty.

Most Japanese vehicles are built and sold in the USA. Curious to see if there is still a carve out for autos and auto parts.

Eh. All of these deal announcements have been so vague. They also all still have tariffs which he still incorrectly says “XX country will pay 15% tariffs”. Why does he keep insisting the country pays the tariff?

The only reason to not assume a state executive wanting to be able to direct 550b of foreign “investments” is corruption is because you “trust Trump” which is cuck shite.

Depends in what "Direct" turns out to mean. More than likely, it will be the Japanese industry/government collective laying out something like "How about $100M in automotive, $100M in semiconductor, etc?" and Commerce or State approving that.
