If Ripple did an IPO, you can bet your arse I would buy that though.

XLM is doing well today - fucckkkk I try not to smell my finger because the scent just lingers, but I'm really upset I traded TRX for XLM.

If you sold with a profit, I wouldn't be upset at all

well I got in trx early, so I did fine, I was hoping TRX was going to get a stronger movement - I got in XLM cheap as well, so anything above .30 cents is profit. I'm just upset I shuffled it around - I think XLM has a better outlook at this point.

Binance CEO talks about threat of Korean Government shutting down Crypto Exchanges including Binance

Should we be worried? What happens if Binance gets shut down? How do we recover our cryptos? Will moving my Binance holdings to a wallet help in such a scenario? I am not an active crypto trader...more of a buy and hold type. I'm not expecting to sell anything until the end of this year. TIA for any inputs.

Only use exchanges to trade. If you're holding for the hold it in your wallet, use a nano ledger

Considering that Korean exchanges are still up and Binances isn't in Korea, I don't think this'll have any long term affect. There's also been no complete ban by any country yet.

ECA can be traded on yet another shady exchange named Coins Control.

ECA has also applied to get on Cryptopia FYI.

newb question: i deposited ETH on binance and am looking to trade that for say, XLM or something.

i don't see a way to do that..it seems i must trade ETH for BTC first..then i can buy XLM or anything else using BTC?

the only options i see are ETH/BTC and ETH/USDT unless i'm missing something.

TIA

eta and should i leave the "BNB to pay for fees" option on? seems like a good idea with the discount but don't know anything about binance coins.

You're missing the ETH tab. Here's a direct link to the page for trading ETH/XLM. LINK

Yes. It's one of the best things about Binance, but you actually have to purchase a BNB coin before so it can transact from your BNB balance.

You’ve got to have a certain amount of coin before withdrawing. My ETH is stuck in Binance for now until I put enough in to withdraw.

Just put your ETH in a coin, it's already there and has had fees taken out, see if you can make some money out of it

I just signed up last night and downloaded the app. The app has closed randomly a couple times but I was able to reopen it right after.

Get your ACT to get ABTC when it forks tomorrow
LINK

Basically you get free coins. For every ACT you buy you get equal ABTC. ACT is a good long term hold. It's not on the major exchanges (Binance , Bittrex) yet and it's a top 100 in market cap. I project $5 by mid year 2018.
