Yeah you have 1500, but that’s better than 750.

Igoringa might be kicking himself for not having 300,000.

It’s all relative.

really debating dropping another 20k on it

I’m already in but went in with hesitation because I’m new to individual stock investing, so didn’t throw but $2500 at it. I’m quite happy with the gains.

However, I have 20k in my liquid savings account emergency fund. I’m thinking of investing half at this point. Worse case we need that cash in an emergency, I can raid my Roth principal ($300k plus in Roths between wife and I). I know a lot of people use their Roths as emergency funds of sorts anyway.

I think there will be some buying opportunities in the next week or two. High beta stocks take the first big hits when geopolitical uncertainty hits the market. Looking at a great phase of accumulation and entry point(s) for new investors that have been hesitant after a big run.

Higher lows and higher highs!

A one percent share in those markets could mean a share price of over $600.

So the NASDAQ up-listing would be a safe?

I don't know if it's my lack of imagination, or my desire to not be disappointed, but I really can't fathom further progress past the nasdaq listing and a few small p.o.'s, but...

I also find it hard to fathom that we're not at $10 by end of June. So, just a strong belief that anyone can double their money in 4 months seems like a good place to be.

And of course, constantly evaluating up to that point.

I bought 9000 more shares this past week, and told myself I'm done. But...

Explain? My Roth is with Vanguard and I can’t buy on that platform

I documented, in this thread, a long time ago, that I was content and was through buying.

I bought 2500 more on Friday, to help pay the taxes when I sell the original chunk.

ETA: If this goes to $1k by late 2029, and DJT ends the IRS, as he keeps saying he will, I will have enough that I cannot spend the interest on it.

I agree. we are marching toward $10 by the 31st of this month. May not close there, but we will tap it.

Didn't you say that you had Emergency money somewhere, that you're considering buying stock with? Well do that. If I misunderstood you, I apologize.

And then if you have an emergency, sell some stock.

Different subject:
I don't know much about different platforms where Roth accounts land, but if I had a Roth I'd be voicing my desire for flexible investing. I realize that you only have so much voice in this situation though.

I don't either, I was giving my conservative prediction, hence "I can't fathom".

The momentum seems like a freight train right now.

Obviously I hope y’all are right, but what catalysts are you seeing that would double us up in the next month?

I think the acetylene contract is likely to be announced, and hopefully the Houston construction, but is that enough to keep us moving significantly upward? I was thinking those things would likely just hold us around $5-6.

Kerry basically said yesterday they are on track for NASDAQ by the end of June. And it doesn’t sound like any big purchase orders are coming for a few more months. Those are the things (along with institutional investing) that I thought would really get us over double digits. But y’all are thinking we get there even before those things?

I want you to be right

He said nasdaq by end of 2Q, that would be by the end of June. That's why I based my prediction date there.

I'm thinking now that EPA approval is done, the excitement and timetable is easier to predict, creating more FOMO, which will drive the share price up.

I hope.

Correct. Vanguard does not allow investing in OTC stocks. Vanguard is not a "trader's" platform. It's best for LT investors.

I think the Acetylene contract announcement will come in a week or two. I think the beginning of a facility build, or retrofit, will be announced in 2-3 weeks. I also think there will be an announcement about some of the lab work results, leading to an announcing of a small contract.

I think the hype and momentum that follows these announcements will take it past.
