Ditto. I am not going to be staring at my holdings a year from now. If we don't at least hear some positive news by the January-Feburary timeline, I will probably drop out.
I believe we will see significant news by January and we will be close to $4 USD by that time, but I would push my drop-out date further out than January. Regulatory issues can take months, I had a state regulator take three months to approve a like-in-kind equipment replacement at a facility I worked at. This was a simple dust collector on an established process that had been permitted for 30-years. When I worked at NOVONIX it took us two years to get our permits straightened-out because our process was cutting edge and had not been established.

I will reassess in January, not bail out.

So far, so good. What's the root cause?
Posted on 10/10/25 at 9:39 am to Jax-Tiger
I keep searching for news hoping announcement of manufacturing facilities but don’t see anything
Somebody knows something !

$1.94
Now this is what I’ve been waiting for
Something is coming soon

I haven't been able to find anything. I'm sure it will be back to $1.50 at some point next week

Hard to get excited without some sort of announcement. I'm just observing for now. All the ups and downs are just people jumping in and out.
Once we see contracts signed for the production facility, acetylene gas, and customers, then we should see some legs on this thing...

Seems like all graphene stocks are jumping due to a Chinese ban on exporting graphene related materials. So it's not specific to this stock at all.

They must consider it a strategic material. That only bodes well for our HGRAF investment.

I just asked Google's AI "What applications could HGRAF's new actuator patent be applied to?" Ermagert!
HydroGraph's new patent, awarded on October 8, 2025, covers a graphene-based electrothermal actuator that is lightweight, silent, and scalable. The actuator uses the company's proprietary "Fractal Graphene," which is over 95% air, to generate mechanical force when heated electrically.
This technology has potential applications across multiple industries, including:
HVAC and building systems
Hydronic valve actuators: The new actuator could replace wax- or PTC-based actuators in hydronic valves, which control the flow of water in heating and cooling systems.
Consumer appliances
Low-voltage actuators: The silent, low-voltage operation is suitable for household devices that require motion, such as dishwashers and coffee or steam machines.
Automotive
Thermal management: The compact and EMI-immune nature of the actuators makes them ideal for use in electric vehicle (EV) and internal combustion engine (ICE) cooling loops.
Microfluidics and diagnostics
Lab-on-a-chip devices: The small size and rapid response time of the actuators make them suitable for microfluidics and diagnostic technologies.
Aerospace and robotics
Lightweight, silent actuation: The technology offers a high strength-to-weight ratio and quiet operation, which is critical for robotics and aerospace applications where traditional motors are not practical.
Potential benefits of the new actuator technology include:
Lightweight: The actuator uses a material that is mostly air, making it extremely light.
Quiet: The electrothermal actuation mechanism produces very little noise.
Scalable: Designs can be scaled up or down depending on the force and size requirements.
Efficient: The actuators are low-voltage, potentially offering greater energy efficiency compared to some traditional actuators.

On October 8th, China announced additional export controls on lithium battery and graphite anode materials, effective November 8, 2025, citing national security concerns and international non-proliferation obligations. China controls 99% of spherical graphite production (the processed form essential for lithium-ion battery anodes), 75% of the natural graphite supply chain, and 74% of synthetic graphite supply.
This stock is going to start flying to the moon very soon.

I'd like to see a race to $10 between SLI and HGRAF. SLI got a head start and has been there once, but can HGRAF blow by it in the coming months?

Then DJT is going to want to fund, and have a percentage of, HGRAF and any others. Once the gubmint learns it is scalable, they are going to throw money at it to scale up.

Correct.
My optimism was unwarranted

We see you HGRAF!
Slowly grinding up. Any positive news and this is going to pop bigly.

Good run up today
As others have posted. The china restrictions could be a great boost to the stock

I have doubled my investment, and I've only been in for a little over 2 months (since August 8th). It seems like a lot longer, but that is a pretty good return. Of course, it could be back to a buck-ten by next week, but I'm hopeful that we see it moving towards $4 before the end of the year.
