We just got our bonus numbers and raise numbers today and they are half of last year's numbers. Got 2.5 raise and 11% bonus. Way it's looking here it will be another low pay year for 2017.

this thread depresses me. I didn't get a raise last year, I actually took a minor pay cut of about .5%. I haven't gotten a raise since 2011. I think its time to look for a new job.

No raise in 2015, but I received a 24% raise in 2014, so I'm okay with that.

ETA: that figure is from a promotion and two standard raises, I had initially forgot one of the raises that I received in 2014. I'm sure my 2016 will be a standard 3% raise.

Career phase is important...younger people are likely to have bigger raise percentages (smaller bases), so keep that in context.

sure, but no raise for coming up on 5 years is pathetic IMHO. The thing is that I got a 100%+ raise in 2008. So I am ok with where my comp is at, but its just kinda disrespectful to give nothing for coming up on 5 years. Our raises come in August.

my wife got a 20% raise this year.

I should be at around ~30% this year. Last year I got around ~10%. I should be in the 10-15% yearly range on average until 2020 if I don't screw up

I have professional credentials that have guaranteed raises for progress.

10-15% per year for the next 4-5 years is pretty sweet

I was awarded stock in lieu of any raise. Too bad the stock price is in the shitter.

no one is getting them so that helps the ego. One of the lady who works for me has only gotten one raise in the last 10 years, it was 2 years ago and like 3%.

I don't know why she doesn't look;......oh yeah, she isn't qualified to do anything else.

This is probably the reason our attrition is close to 20% a year. And job applicants turn down our offers, as they are 30% lower than amrket rates.

I mean there is a big difference between making 50k and getting a 10% raise and making 150k and getting 0% raise. I can't really say whether or not you are getting hosed unless I know where you are at.

Well I am getting hosed on the raise front that is clear. But I am not unhappy with my salary. Its closer to 150k than 50.
