There is no doubt alts high a much higher % gain possibility. Its easy to paint a broad stroke without naming specific ones though.

I can argue paying off your mortgage then investing that will make you more cash. Mortgages are front loaded. So you will need to do an actual analysis on where you are in your payment schedule to see what is beneficial for your situation.

Hey Tator it's obvious you don't understand why I can't tell you. I can spout out those coins but there are other coins that have recently dropped and are good buys now. I bought my coins when they were the lowest from their all time highs and further retracement levels on Fib. At the purchase price they have the ability to retrace 10x or more. Today they are further along upward. You must be completely ignorant. Want me to spout off a few coins for you to waste your money in? I don't think you are using your thinker. Pick the ones today that have the largest gain back to all time highs etc.

Read your comment and tell me you don't sound like a used car salesman please. Of all the ridiculous things said on this board, your comments are now my favorite.

"Can't tell you which coins to buy, its a secret! But they will outperform bitcoin, just figure it out yourself!"

If it is so easy, I don't see why you can't name a few that will outperform.

Buy a NNN Dollar General with the lease expiring in 5 years in a decent area, get IO loan from the bank for two years, so that you get your 20% down capital back. In 5 years renegotiate your lease for a higher but not to high as for them to be able to build new... profit.

How much is left on the mortage on your personal house?

How much will you profit on the rental?

I say pay the house off or at least put a big dent in it.

The rate is 2.75%. Why would he want to pay an extra penny at that rate?

Don't like boats or the beach. Prefer hills/mountains. If I'm gonna do water, it would be a river I could float like the Frio or maybe a lake.

They WILL buy the coins no matter what I do. I can say don't buy but people will chase them. People buy on good news tops, and sell with blood in the water bottoms. When they start running up, people will jump in chasing the dream. I don't have to convince people of that. It's happened EVERY time during alt season. As far as not naming them, I've already stated the exact reason but Tator got his feelings hurt and trying to make it personal. The best percentage gains actually change every few days based on what's going on in the market if someone is getting in now. Ultimately, people will chase the tops despite what Tator spews out. I added to a couple of my coins due to how low they got on last couple pull backs. Give it up tator tot!

I'm just trying to get a baseline for comparison but you won't plat the game. Take your ball and go home.

If you're making more money by leaving it in the market than you're paying on a mortgage, that makes carrying that debt an even better idea. Not a worse one. If liquidity is a concern, yet again, leaving that money in the market to maximize returns up until the day you get laid off, and then cashing out and paying off the mortgage will still leave you in a better position financially. Though, as has been discussed in this thread...he'd still be better leaving as much as possible in his investments.
