Yeah that ball was out. In the LJ's defense, she was blocked out and couldn't see the ball, just the player's knee.

Especially when you know OSU will throw and with good D you could force incompletes. They likely wouldn’t need to use all 3 timeouts.

Why in the world would you go for it there? It's a one score game. You have all time outs, 2.5 minutes, and are in your opponent's red zone.
