He lost to zverev. Zverev gets flustered so easy. Crazy

So, my question is two-fold: when will I know what day Rafa is playing, and what’s the best way to get tickets last minute as I don’t wanna book ahead of time and then have to offload tickets if I get the wrong day? I had ticket hookups at the other tournaments, and they were in Rafa’s prime ages so I simply said gimme semi tickets knowing I’d almost certainly get to see him (and I did!), but this one is different so appreciate any help y’all can provide. Thanks!
You're gonna have to go throug a re-seller, and you will need to wait until you know and they will be expensive (prob around 1000 USD per seat and up as he will be on Philippe Chartrier. You may have some luck from your concierge if you are in a nice hotel, and also if you have a platinum or above AMEX, that might be an avenue.
Let me tell you if you can afford to get there go. RG is an exceptional experience and the part of Paris it is in is lovely. Just being on the grounds there is phenonomenal.
Such a great time of year to be in Paris, sounds like a great trip

I'm 100% convinced Nole could win in Australia for another 10 years.

quote:Nah, still between -125 and -140.
I bet Djoker’s odds skyrocketed. Got him at -145 during the Alcaraz match.
Djokovic is -220 vs Sinner. That's driving the odds right now. What's insane to me is that a -140 Championship bet implies that Djokovic will be around -500 in the Final.
Plus, can't discount Sinner. He has been here before and is unlikely to back down.
Time on court:
Sinner 11h22m
Djokovic 15h09m
Okay. Point that I need to correct. Sinner has NOT been here before. He has 1 previous career Slam SF appearance, and that was a 3-0 loss to Djokovic in last year's Wimbledon. This is Sinner's 2nd career SF.

Medvedev is 1-3 against Joker in GS finals

Med did deny him the grand slam in 2021. But, it's not a good matchup. Novak serves him out wide and volleys and Med can't do much about it.

He's gunning for 30 slams by the end imo

Checking out the remaining doubles draw. Going to be kind of funny if the Men's Doubles Championship is between 2 teams of singles players. Especially if it's this random arse pairing of Machac/Zhang. The other SF has a German singles players team of Hanfmann/Koepfer.
Also. LSU Alum Neal Skupski won last night and is into the Mixed Doubles Final. Paired with American Desirae Krawczyk who was his doubles partner for their 2021 and 2022 Mixed Doubles Wimbledon titles.

Machac and Zhang, the No. 75 and No. 54 in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings in singles, respectively, had never played together and had just three tour-level doubles wins between them prior to this fortnight at Melbourne Park. They have dropped just one set across four matches so far, however, and defeated two seeded teams including third seeds Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury.

Coco a bit shaky in the 1st set, but she is also going for broke on a lot of these points and 2nd serves. Sabalenka is also playing very well.
Coco had a chance up 6-5 in the set but a bad miss up 30-15. Getting broken and then following that up with a disappointing tiebreak sadly. Hopefully she can bounce back in the 2nd set.

Today was good Sabalenka. Not really much anyone on the womens side can do in that case. Too much power. Thought Coco played well.

She was definitely too good today, and that was even with her missing a lot of shots and errors. Just too much power like you said, and some great ball placement.
Coco needed to clean up her serve, too many double faults, and some easy second serves that Sabalenka just pounded.

This Ukrainian vs Chinese Women’s Semi has to be the worst quality of tennis for a Grand Slam Semi in decades.
Oof.

The whole tournament has been full of shitty play on the womens side. They get too much credit for their level of play. High school boys would destroy most of these girls.

She might get to the Final and Zheng could possibly end up like the last Chinese female tennis player that disappeared to a gulag.

Both women are averaging 50% First Serve deep into the 2nd Set.
That’s incredibly enjoyable as a casual viewer.

Zheng inches closer to saying Wan'an to the nice Ukrainian Qualifier.
I think the Belarusian will destroy Zheng in the All-Communist Final.
