It's like 2020 when the season started late and everyone had team changes announced before showing up in Austria.

Seems like half the field has contracts expiring end of 2024.
They do... Which is why I think Alonso/Sainz (two best free agents) will sign prior to season start and then the dominos will fall.
I think Alonso signs with Merc or RB.

I was right, Season 6, as of now, will be the last season. They're not filming right now/this season. This is as of a week ago. I'd imagine they're kicking themselves not being able to cover one of the biggest stories to hit F1 in years.

The show has not yet been renewed for a seventh season - but it would come as a big shock if Netflix did not extend its deal with Formula 1 and Box to Box Films for the series.

Is it bad that I can't tell whether its any different than last year

Same livery, still at the back of the grid. At least haas is consistent.

Mercedes’ board of directors refused a proposed deal to make Lewis Hamilton a Mercedes ambassador until 2035. John Elkann proposed a $400 million investment in Lewis’ projects such as Mission44 and transform him into an ambassador for Ferrari.

I can 100% believe emails from FOM get flagged as spam.

Whatever happened to picking up the phone and calling? Instead, FOM gets some intern to send a calendar invite from their hotmail account.

Hope he gets to smoke hamilton a couple times before he quits.
ETA: got a couple Hamilton lovers that don't remember him punting albon a few times.

Meh, Albon was already there... Yes, more experience now, but this seems like a mediocre move with Alonso, Sainz, Gasley and the likes on the market.

Unless the Williams is a lot better car than people think, Albon has done a very impressive job dragging that thing into the points.

It's not. It has terrible pace on any track that's not low-downforce. Albon just knows how to sling it around in qualifying, and he doesn't lose too much ground in the race because he's great on the tires. It's also not a great car at starts.

He's no longer the "they race me so hard" Albon. He's matured. Red Bull threw him out there too early, and I think it humbled him when he got the ax.

Here's a side by side of last year vs. this year. The livery is extremely similar, but looks like the body got a massive overhaul. It'll be interesting if this car performs better.

Wish someone would do that same picture with Ferraris 2023 car vs Haas 24 car.
