No word on Checo this week, does that mean he will be back next season? I thought they were supposed to make a decision early this week

Checo out. Lawson in.
I have my doubts that Lawson can do much better, but maybe I'll be surprised

Marko and Horner coming together to murder another driver career.
Homestly think that is how Marko continues living.

Whose? Checo?
Think he did that to himself

Probably Lawson’s will end up dead

Marko survives on the adrenal glands of young drivers.

Ok so here is what I've heard over the last few weeks, ??Perez performance clause was activated removing him from the seat. I heard there was a mid season clause that he didn't meet at the summer break, but they continued with him to year end to give them more time to evaluate Lawson until the year end. ??Decision was apparently made known to Checo sometime over the AD weekend. ??Legitimately there was no decision on who would take the seat until after Yuki's test. Yuki's test went well. ??Hadjar will replace Lawson at RB I've heard some rumblings, but nothing concrete on this next bit. These are my thoughts on why Yuki didn't get the seat, ??Honda is moving to supply AMR in 2026. The future of Yuki is a bit up in the air and the risk is he could leave with Honda to AMR. ??Lawson is preferred by Lord Helmet. They believe in his skill sets and think he is the best compliment to Max

bullshite they aren’t giving Yuki a chance.

Red Bull management since the big guy died has been terrible.
I'm not sure if it's disdain towards Honda or Yuki that has left Yuki inexplicably left out. Marko has been preparing us all along by talking about Yuki's faults, but it's all bullshite. All drivers have faults and make mistakes. Yuki put them in an awkward position by out-scoring Danny 22-12 pts and then out-qualifying Liam 6-0 and out-scoring Liam 8-4 pts. But Yuki never had a chance.

All this RB frickery makes you wonder whether they'd have any of their hardwar over the last 4 seasons if Max wasn't the wheelman?

Yeah I miss mateschitz. I think a lot of things are going on… if Honda was still Red Bulls engine supplier for the next regulation set, he would have the seat imo.
I’ve always thought Helmut was higher on Yuki, it’s Christian who doesn’t like him.

Before this season I would have said Lawson would get the seat but Yuki definitely looked better this year. But he does kind of seem like an a-hole and not someone you'd want to deal with or someone Max would want to deal with. Might be reading that wrong but that's the vibe I get from him. Can't imagine how big of a baby he'd turn into in the car if he was in competition.

I don’t want to be that guy…. But it really does seem biased.
Yuki has always been in Red Bull’s doghouse.
There’s nothing I’ve seen that suggests Lawson is a better driver than Yuki.

Yuki Stat Liam Lawson
47 Points 6
0 Wins 0
0 Podiums 0
0 Poles 0
45 Total GPs 11
1.04 Points / GP 0.
Even if you think long term Lawson is better… he’s not there yet. At least give Yuki a shots and give Lawson time to develop

If tweet fails to load, click here. If Perez is out and Liam is in, I assume that puts Isack Hadjar in the Racing Bull. Those should be the last dominos to fall and driver line ups should be set.
One year after no changes to the line ups we have 8 out of 10 teams making a change. McLaren and Aston Martin are the only two teams running it back next year with the same line ups. 5 rookies in the lineup next year not counting Liam Lawson.

You mean RBR doesn't want to promote drivers that could push their #1? That is their m.o.
Ever since multi 21 they have taken the road not to have two top drivers line up next to each other.
JEV, Danny Ric, Sainz, Gasly.....

You're right, Marko was always more open to the idea of Yuki in the Red Bull seat, although the way he talked about drivers could shift drastically from race to race. Horner never showed any interest. I meant that more recently, Marko started emphasizing Yuki's flaws as reasons he might not get promoted, while talking up Liam a bit. The impression I got was that he knew which way it was going to go and was pressured to toe the corporate line.
Red Bull re-signed Yuki for 2025 in June because other teams started talking to Yuki. Yuki of course stuck with RB because he felt that he earned a promotion. Well, RB could have done Yuki a solid and been truthful with him that he's never getting promoted, so he could have made a better decision. Now he's stuck in a dead-end job on a team that does not appear to be on the rise. I would have rather seen Yuki in the Haas instead of Ocon. Even Alpine, paired up with his buddy Gasly.

They probably only win 2023. (Meaning WDC)
That car was so dominant the Windowlicker would have likely won in it.

Makes sense. Austro-German/Japanese/Italian partnerships and all the fun that coems with that. I could see how a Brit like Horner might not like that.
