They’ll be right back at #1 or #2 next year. Just an odd year talent/size/depth wise for the Blue Jays.

I think the winner of the 4/5 game makes the championship.

It’ll be a challenge considering they are losing their two biggest players to CHS.

There’s a lack of boys, and kids in general in that grade at Mercy for whatever reason. There’s like 30 boys in that grade. The 7th grade class has over 50 and the 6th grade class has over 60.

Yes. St. Aloysius defeated SJV 34-21 and CHS defeated Mercy 40-33.

Theresa vs Jude is a major clash of styles tonight. Should be a great first round matchup.

Both of these seem about right. Either of them attempt to make it a game?

It’s a shame 4 and 5 are matched up in round 1. Semi-finals would have been much more competitive with both of these teams in. The speed of SAS v grit of SJS and size/physicality of George v Theresa would have been fun to watch.

Mercy made a run in the 3rd quarter. They were in striking distance, but CHS held them off.

When did St Jude change its logo to that generic abomination?

They had the best logo in CSAL. Bear, I believe you’ve compared it to the Brewers glove logo.

St. George was up by 1 at halftime on STM, but pulled away to win 34-17.

St. Jude grinded it out to defeat St. Theresa 26-23.

Sunday is setting up to be a great day of basketball.

Tomorrow… for all the glory. St. George proving the pre-season ranking right? SAS raising its first Elite 8 champs trophy? CHS going to be the real surprise of the season and win their home tourney? Or St. Jude going to shock the Dragons?

I say @CapitalTiger is right. Those scrappy St. Jude boys not only make the final, they win it all.

I can’t wait to tell my neighbors in Wichita why I’m setting off fireworks after St. George wins today.
