Yeah him deciding to go up the dragon was the most nerve wracking thing

That was insane. And he has 10 more to go even higher

Hopefully he takes the money from this and retires

I don't know how he does the smooth part of the tower

Wtf having the wife there like that? Man, I wouldn't want to take his focus off anything.

Watching him standing on the edge looking down is stressing me out worse than watching him climb.

I don't think it can... it's live. Probably show up somewhere... probably national geographic or discovery... a few months down the road... or you could get a using a less traditional way of getting feed...

I 100% agree. And I respect the shite out of Alex. But these daredevil types that don’t ratchet it back when they have spouses and children? I get a bit judgmental then. Still - Free Solo is fricking awesome and dude is a total badass.

Greatest athlete of our lifetime, and the least known. Bro is a DAWG

He definitely should get a shoe deal, his shoes actually accomplish something compared to NBA players

He makes it look easy, it's so weird.
Someone posted above that him standing and looking over was more stressful watching him climb, and I agree.
I bet shaking his hand is crazy.

I've been fortunate enough to look down from multiple 14'ers and from El Capitan and I can't imagine doing what he did. I couldn't even get to the very edge of El Capitan without getting nervous because of the curvature and the wind.

IIRC (been awhile since I’ve seen it), they do a brain scan of his reaction to stress in Free Solo and he literally doesn’t have any. My stress level and vitals watching him do this from the comfort of my couch are far worse than his when he is doing it. Insane.

I watched every second and enjoyed the heck out of it even though I had the heebie-jeebies throughout the climb.
