I was just talking about our trade options, but yes, that would be nice too, although I'm not sure it can be considered, let alone expected, at this point. These bats are what they are.

The extra wild card team now versus 2021 makes it nearly impossible. So very few teams are going to think they are out of it and sell now since teams can sneak in with low 80s wins most years. Which either makes them cost a lot in terms of prospects or in money, neither which we have.
Almost anyone with a pulse would be an upgrade over the way Duvall is playing however, so hopefully AA pulls something off.

Despite the lack of enthusiasm for making moves before the trade deadline, the future is still bright for this season. Underwhelmed by our offense, but any team can get hit at the right time. Our pitching must carry the ship till the bats come back to life. Or at least that’s how I’ve been coming around lately to rationalize the first half of the season and what may come in the second.
