Novak walks down 2-0.
Incredible.
Feel bad for the Italian.

Djokovic admits he was on his way home and Musetti was the much better player
Classy. feels like it was a crappy way to win

Damn. Musetti’s body fails him again

As much as this sucks for Musetti, I do want to see Novak reach 25. This is likely one of his last chances. Although a walkover, and an injury, through his first 5 matches, there is somewhat of an asterisk there right now.
Will be rooting for Shelton, but Sinner, and Alcaraz are too good. Novak likely has no chance against Sinner if he gets past Shelton.

and an injury
Especially one where he was down 2 sets to 0.
That being said, I don’t understand why he didn’t just tank the set and then take that long break he’s allowed to get to reevaluate things.

Shelton 13/14 first serves in his first service game is wild. And it was still hard work to win it.
Sinner is a god damn robot.

True, but would somewhat make up for not being able to play because of the vax refusal BS. Don’t see him being able to beat Carlos/Sinner though unless they get hurt too.

I went to sleep last night when Novak was down 2-0 and said hes done. What was the Musetti injury? He kept shaking his arm early in the 1st set, but then went on to dominate.

But hard to throw that out since Sinner has a 8-1 H2H advantage with a combined set edge of 20 to 2.
Make that 9-1 H2H and 23 to 2 set advantage.
Really thought that Shelton had a shot this time.

Yeah if he somehow beats Sinner and Carlos it would be quickly forgotten
Anyone else think Pegula can win tomorrow?

If you beat SInner and Carlitos back to back, nobody cares how you got there.
Posted on 1/28/26 at 11:14 am to usc6158
Nole has won just 2 sets off of Sinner in their last 5 matches and none in their last 3.
Janik is going to wreck him in Djokovic's current form, especially since heat won't be a factor.

I honestly wonder how long it will take for someone to beat both of them on their way to winning a Slam.
My guess is the next player to do so is not currently on Tour.

Crazy seeing Nole as a +800 underdog. Damn

Belarus vs Ukraine Women's Semifinal.
The Ukrainian Svitolina refused to shake hands with the Belarusian Sabalenka.
Let's see how that works out for her!
