These rumors have been circulating for a few days.
Personally I don' think there is anyway there is any truth to any of this. No one has gone on record publicly mentioning anything of the sort. I could be wrong, but I think creating this thread was probably a waste of your time.

I'll take it with an entire shaker of salt. That's not gonna happen

Also just for clarification, from what we know so far Briles hasn't actually been fired yet.

the MOB show at halftime this year will be worth the price of admission

I have trouble believing they're that blind PR wise
This is Baylor we are talking about. Did you watch that Ken Starr interview?

Wasn't he technically not fired though? I read he was put on suspension review and would eventually be fired but hadn't actually happened, which is why he released an official statement through Baylor as it was happening

Paul..why was your right arm smaller? And, did Terry not have access to steroids also?

I don't know where you got this part. His statement was a few days later and came from himself.

This would look worse than the Miles fiasco, if true.

Their fans are delusional. They all think this is 100% happening.

I haven't talked to a single person who thinks that this is likely to happen.

Can we begin to lump the delusional Baylor fans who are loyal to Art Briles and what the football program has become in with the Penn State-JoePa apologists?

Probably, but I'd rather weather a little temporary bad press if it meant keeping a great coach for years.
Yeah, who cares that he knowingly recruited players with violent histories (some of which he was warned about by other teams) and at best turned a blind and kept him self willfully ignorant of his teams rape culture. As long as we win some football games at all water under the bridge.
You are pathetic.

My buddy is a Baylor alum and he thinks it's a 75-80% of happening.
So much fail. I actually like seeing their hopes up to only have them pulled out from underneath. They have nothing else to hold on to
Hey coach Grobe, thanks for your 3 weeks of service.

Baylor fans are being freaking delusional
ETA: they are approaching Penn State levels of delusion. It is time for Baylor fans to take a long, hard look into what happened and why a lot of people are now apprehensive about sending their daughters to Baylor.

this sounds very likely. to go back now would seriously hurt the university long term. if these big money boys are serious they are fools. rich fools, but fools.
