For those who went, how did having the game at Tulane’s stadium compare to having the state championship at the dome? Just watching the highlights, it seemed like the Tulane setup seems way more conducive to a HS state championship.
I heard the plumbing wasn’t working. Not sure if true.

Not true about the plumbing.
I thought the stadium was great for a high school championship game.

Screw the Catholic Admin in that case
They never would have allowed that shite when I was in school. They literally did nothing last night. They were going to just let that shite continue
Lol the NOLA area will take losing to John Curtis in exchange for concentrating the trash there

CHS struggles to get the one seed because their district is bad so even going undefeated isn’t enough when someone comes out of the Catholic league undefeated.
CHS played STM, Karr, North Little Rock, AR, UHigh, East Ascension, Dutchtown and Parkview, all teams that played a playoff game. Hardly a bad schedule and just as tough as a Catholic League that features Shaw, Holy Cross and St Aug.

He’s a playmaker in that mold, but bigger & more tightly wound. He’s not going to be nearly that versatile
Kaufman is a smart kid as well. I believe he's in the top 10 of his class...
If he does take that Vanderbilt offer, he'll take advantage of the education they'll provide...

Wife woke up bitching about the game and the refs.
I guess she didn't see Catholic getting away with holding all night either...

Was it just one dad, or quite a few....?
Don't let one a-hole make you feel that way. There's one in every crowd...

My issue is the lack of response from Catholic to do a damn thing. They just let him rant and rave forever
When he finally said “I’m going to kill that white boy”, talking about Catholics offensive coordinator, me and my buddy next to me had enough. Without us confronting him, nothing was going to be done at all
And according to the people around us he has done that almost every game all 4 years....
What the hell Catholic admin? They should have stopped that shite game 1. It isn’t fair to his kid, the other kids in the team, the coaches, or the fans

That's totally understandable...
Dude crossed the line with that...

He crossed a million lines. He had been talking about beating people and shite for about 20 minutes

This. You must have been sitting close to me. I used to coach at catholic and this was my first game back watching. I never realized it was like that in the stands. These dads don’t have a fricking clue and are cursing in the stands
Parents in the stands are always fricking embarrassing. Just sit there and cheer for your kid. 99% of the shite people in the stands yell is ignorant

It’s sucks for everyone. The Catholic League plays each other in district and then again in the playoffs.
It will always be tainted in this format because they will only play 3 playoff games in D1
But Rummel, Catholic & John Curtis are easily the 3 best teams in the state this year. That’s a hell of a run by Rummel & Catholic
