I'm not wasting my time even if it's free. Kinda checked out of NFL for last 5 years. Checked out of NBA and college basketball years ago. Did watch women's games last year thou. Kinda checked out of MLB years ago. Don't watch hockey at all any longer. Only watching College FB and baseball and they are getting closer to the edge for me. I attend all home games but there will come a time when I'll just sit at home and watch. I've been attending LSU games since the 60s and still love watching them play.

Wonder how many of these principled fricks drop $10+ on a beer at the game.

Have you ever paid for the same beer multiple times?

Almost everyone here pays for a live TV subscription primarily for sports. Then RedZone and/or Sunday Ticket, then Prime Video. Now Peacock. What’s it going to be next week?

The NFL gets a steady flow from of cash from ESPN, from Amazon, from ads, now they want even more subscription revenue. It’s not about “muh $5”, it’s a never-ending money grab. It doesn’t stop if you keep paying them.

And come to find out, they are running commercials as well. Its complete BS.

They even took a break for halftime, greedy capitalist pigs!

Next time you have a go fund me for Kilen and Kalen to get braces I’ll throw in an extra $6 so you can afford peacock.

Keep a stiff upper lip buddy it gets better.

If NFL wants to do this, then it is time to end all tax payer subsidies for stadiums, practice facilities, etc.

Make it federal law! Call or write your Congress critter!

Not watching here either. Putting that game on Peacock is total bullshite and I sure hope it's a "One and done".

The amount of people complaining about not having 6 dollars is pathetic. Go pick up an extra shift at Arby’s so you can enjoy playoff football loser

What's pathetic is soon every NFL game will be on a pay platform or PPV.

And you'll happily bend over because $50M per year isn't enough. Players need to be making $60M yeah?

The fact that you think this is about $6 is what's sad. You don't think too good huh?

I had college basketball on all day anyway. Rather watch that.

Unless you are a chiefs fan, the game was pretty terrible.

When LSU started selling alcohol to the general public at football games it’s was $6/beer. It was awesome and I figured that’s still more than at home but not much more than at a restaurant or bar.

Next year was $7. Still not terrible but I could see the writing on the wall. Following year $9. I now no longer buy beer but sneak whiskey in. At some point. The incremental increase in costs has to make people say “Enough”.

Putting this playoff game not just on Peacock, but on Peacock+ or Peacock Premium was my “Enough”.
