brew has been in the pblic system long enough for his retirement to be a serious factor in staying in the public school system

Heard Brew turned it down. Sucks. He’s content in the public system with his retirement factors like supatigah mentioned

I have zero connections to Catholic High. So don’t say y’all. I think Simoneaux is a excellent coach. I just didn’t think he would get it.

I think he’s been there since he left central, so since 2013?

Just going off the top of my head, I don’t keep up with these things so I might be wrong

I like the hire. Hope he keeps current staff intact. Love that they hired an offensive minded coach. Defense is in good hands with Deuce. We have the talent and assistant coaches to win the D1 championship the next three years. Let’s go. Cur dog.

Simoneux is a good coach. He accomplished a lot with the little he has to work with, being in a small rural community.

Going from 1A to 5A/D1 is a hell of a come up

He is my cousin and we are very proud of him. I called this the second I heard the spot was open. He is as good a guy as you can ask for and knows how to relate to the kids better than anyone I've ever witnessed (I may be biased). The biggest thing is he cares for each and every kid on his teams like they are his own, and he means it.

Maybe he's jumping ship to stay ahead of this Guice stuff.

Let’s see if Guice gets offered a position on the new coach’s staff.

CHSPC was in bad shape when he took over and they have been really good with limited resources

Solid hire!
Your not getting any public school coaches due to retirement benefits they would be giving up.
