This one’s about as suspicious as it gets, but every time I try to talk myself into the lottery being rigged, I remember the Pels won the Anthony Davis and Zion Williamson lotteries. And it becomes a much harder leap to make.

Some can be rigged without all of them being rigged.

Can anyone explain to me WHY they would actually rig it for the Mavs? It's not like a marquee franchise.

Dallas is a pretty good sized market.
But the prevailing thought is they rigged it as payback for Dallas making that god awful trade with the Lakers. People think was an agreement in order to ensure the lakers had a star when LeBron retires.

San Antonio wins this. Dylan Harper + Victor Wembanyama = next Spurs dynasty. Dylan Harper, son of NBA star Ron Harper is the best prospect in this year’s draft.
