This team gets in ruts both offensively and with its pitching and it’s not a game or two. It takes them 2 or 3 series to come out of it. When you actually have Maldy contributing you can’t afford to have Altuve, Brantley and Bregman shitting the bed.

And they just disappear too. Last night in the 5th it was 8 hits to 3 and the game was tied at 3. And we get no hit the rest of the game. It’s all or nothing with this team.

And you can’t keep trotting pitchers out there who are good 1 out of every 3 or 4 appearances and expect to be successful.

Well, it appears my prediction of Yordan hitting a homerun for the Astros only run off of Cole was not correct.

And I'm perfectly fine with that.

Alvarez is the hitter that Yankees fans believe Aaron Judge to be.

Been driving around catching bits and pieces of the game.

So let me get this straight...

Yed good
Less Myles bad
maLd0nad0 lucky

Is that a fair review of the proceedings so far?

Yes. McCullers far from sharp but battled through it pretty well

When is he ever sharp? We have to hope for "battled through it well" 80% of the time.

Pretty great approach to Stanton (by putting in a reliever incapable of throwing the ball inside the strike zone)

Pujols DFA’d. Bring him in to play first for all home games. Let Gurriel play right and Tucker play CF.
