Now it would be nice if Tucker could ride from the dead

Holy sweep Stros
Thankfully the Braves took 2/3 from the Yankees so we’re still tied in the loss column
Y’all kicked our arse from start to finish, against our best two starters as well
Tis baseball

2 against the Rockies and then the Mets on the weekend. Definitely possible

This upcoming 2-3 week will confirm the dead cat bounce.

but since this squad is under 500 they just might take the mets/rockies seriously
And I will say this I don't think Seattle is going to be able to keep it up in the second half of the season II think they're going to hit their low point definitely going to leave the door open

Well since we hit "rock bottom", we are 5-0.
And I agree that it was rock bottom...the Sox pitcher who shoved it up our arse Tuesday gave up 8 runs in 1+ innings to feeble Detroit today

A 5 game winning streak…
A 3 game sweep of a very good Orioles team…

And at HOME
Just random baseball shite. This is not a good baseball team
But I’m certainly going to let them step on my dick again anyway

#FTR
I wore an orange shirt and had my Astros coozie at the Rangers game today. Just caught up on the Houston win.
Hopefully the day off won’t kill the hot streak.

Edwin Diaz will likely be suspended for our series against the Mets which is nice. Unless he somehow wins an appeal
2 vs Colorado
3 @ Mets
4 @ Toronto
3 @ Minnesota
3 vs Miami
3 vs Texas
This is what we’ve got til the all star break.
9-9 or worse: we are just as shitty as we’ve thought
10-8, 11-7 or 12-6: Intruiged but still skeptical. Gets tricky if we finish here bc then I’m afraid we’d end up trying to buy at the deadline
13-5 or better: frick it I’m back on the train ready for heartbreak
Anything around .500 is worst case scenario imo cause it’ll prob prevent us from selling at the deadline. I think would rather go 4–14 than 9-9

Article on the athletic today about the strikeout revolution and it had a good bit of story on Luhnows front office and being at the forefront of it.
Even talked a bit about the release of JD Martinez and how it made them realize not to ignore ANY data sets (he had starting hitting the ball a lot harder that year before release)
I miss those guys.
LINK
If anyone is interested. Going to be a multi part article

Really good article. All the NYT/MSM leftism crap is on that site but they still occasionally crank out excellent researched pieces like that one (the first in a series, apparently).
